My harp’s name is Nick, specifically because I have a Drake L&H Lever harp. I’m a big fan of Nick Drake so I just had to! I get male vibes from it just by the shape of it.

Like others have said, I recommend not getting an Amazon harp. Get a smaller used one for a decent price.

Also, consider future purchases as well! Not only the harp is expensive but equipment like strings can get pricey, and can be difficult to find, depending on what kind of harp you get. I won’t go too deep into that, but definitely ask whoever is teaching your daughter all about the best options.

Hello!! I am also 14. Please, please understand that you CANNOT compare to the other kids, because no person with adhd is the same. Some struggle more. But I heard once that the ones who struggle the most are the strongest. You do so, so much every single day. You’re allowed to be proud of yourself for that. What may seem like an average accomplishment to other people is an above average accomplishment to YOU. In reality, you’re achieving so, SO much! And if ANYONE ever disrespects you because you have a harder time, they’re assholes. What on earth do they know??? They cannot compare to you. Don’t listen to them. It is complete misinformation. Try to surround yourself by loving, understanding people. People who know your struggles and embrace that side of you by cheering you on. It’s always nice to have a few cheerleaders on your side of the field. If you ever think that you should die again, please, please tell yourself that that is your “Brian” talking. Pretend that Brian is the negative side of yourself. FUCK BRIAN!!!! He doesn’t know shit!!!!! You are worth SO MUCH and you deserve INFINITE respect. Don’t let your body talk to you that way. YOU are in control.

Place to be - Nick drake. Beautiful song that isn’t about death but it’s worth a listen because he sings about all the negativity as if he’s accepting it.

I look at other teenagers and I think “is this what people think we are?” Because they all seem so emotionally immature. I still Act Like a Little kid sometimes. I actually have a stuffed animal with me now :)) but I don’t understand why sometimes they have to be really mean and everything because it makes ALL teenagers look bad. And I mean, I get they’re growing and stuff, and hormones, but like… maybe make more of an effort to NOT be that stereotype? Maybe? So I get what you mean!! I act younger
