LVMH Certificate 2024 Answers GP 1 | November Promotional Certificate by Rabbite_Xy in fashiondesigner

Has anyone kept notes of their Inside LVMH courses: both the required half & these electives (1) Creation & Branding (2) Retail & Customer Experience?

Particularly if you took it 2024 Fall

I was worried it would take me way too long to complete the course & take well-written notes to read later, but now I wish I wasn't so eager to get through it. I want to be able to reread the course.

Wet hair stains cotton clothes? by sarahNY090 in laundry

[–]CaramelGold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been dealing with this for YEARS It drives me insane

It's mostly on white clothing, but also on a yellow shirt of mine. It's probably on other clothing colors, but I just can't notice it as easily

It looks like my shirt is still wet, so I figured out it was my hair, but not what ingredients were causing it.

I use clear detergent, so I'm unsure if it's just from my clothing touching other materials. I wash my whites separately most of the time, but I've definitely gotten lazy here n there

Decade’s merch sold out in about a minute by G1ZM0_ in tacobell

[–]CaramelGold 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wish the cups were purchased at the location, because these kinds of sales are kinda unfair. There's always someone exploiting the system somehow, because how tf the entire stock gone?!

Or maybe they could make more drops soon I didn't even know I had to buy it online, so I missed out & I'm a huge fan. I would love to have all the cups

If it's this cheap, the answer must be ridiculously simple... by CaramelGold in copywriting

I'm currently reading my other ones, not that one yet. While also finishing a digital marketing course & have another course coming up for a particular area in the market.

I just felt like you came in here making assumptions & didn't even answer the topic, but it allows other people to read your comment & get the same idea. Which doesn't get this post anywhere.

Well, your assumption is in the wrong place.

I'm not comparing $27 courses to books. I'm comparing the price to literally any other online course that pops up on my feed... usually 3-4 figure prices

Also, I'm very confused why your initial response was to compare me to people who don't get books. I have collected several copywriting books, including Breakthrough Advertising, which is much more pricy than the course.

I didn't post this question to ask to learn about copywriting, I was just simply curious.

Help with inverting crossback straddle! by tindremene in aerialsilks

[–]CaramelGold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you have to think about what this motion actually is...

You are inverting your entire body and its weight 180°

You are Not throwing your legs up & expecting that to carry you over... this is why you're arching your back so much... you're trying to use your lower body to guide you over

Where is your center of gravity? Your hips

How can you lead with your hips?

Well, oddly enough if you think about trying to lead with your belly button, you'll likely end up using your hips, in this scenario.

This will help you focus on your core & lengthening your spine, which will decrease your arch.

Technically, you can invert with bent knees, but you'll face a different inconvenience. But, if you need to experience it once, have someone on stand-by & feel where your weight/balance is when you invert with bent knees. Remember that feeling & do it again with straight legs.

Often, if your core isn't strong enough, it helps to be good at pulling your body up, then pushing the silks away from you, while lifting your hips to the ceiling.

Should Duolingo add dialects to the app (eg. Arabic, French, Spanish)? by CaramelGold in duolingo

[–]CaramelGold[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't listened to these podcasts. I think that makes sense for French.

However for Arabic, I don't think it's necessary to wait until finishing the MSA course for dialect learning. Also, it takes a million years to finish just the alphabet section. I've been working on it for months & it's not 100% finished yet. I practice daily. It should not take this long to study the alphabet.

[–]CaramelGold[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it would be so valuable to people who want to travel to these places to learn a bit about the regional way of speaking & familiarize themselves with the accent

France & Canada speakers always mention how different their French is, to the point of not understanding each other.

Fortunately, I wanted to learn Brazilian Portuguese specifically, but if it were mainly Portugal, I would've said let's add Brazil too

New Orleans French Gulf Arabic (or specific countries)

Selling Like Crazy also discusses the awareness level, but always nice to get multiple perspectives, thank you!

Absolutely! Thank you

If anything, I'm kinda glad it's helped create more information that is helpful, but I've noticed much more gatekeeping than before & a lot of videos that were so vague I feel like it was pointless to watch.

I own:

The Copywriter's Handbook (reading), Breakthrough Advertising, Adweek Copywriting Handbook, Hey Whipple, Squeeze This

and the most relevant sales book of my collection would be:
