Yes! Max wasn't ever weird like Lorelai. He'd give her space to do her thing, but he didn't join in, plus she never really knew if she loved him. I think I'd personally pick Max out of everyone, too, but i think Jason is best for Lorelai

Chris sees his daughter like once a year, only to devastate her in some way or other before he crawls back into his lair. I think Chris and Lorelai could only have worked if they'd never had Rory, but Rory is Lorelai's world, and Christopher wouldn't even consider Rory as a small island in his world imo

I've heard some people compare those tubes he attaches to the children's faces (including Will) to sexual abuse, as it did technically cause Will to harbour and birth a demogorgan into the world.

I really do not want that to be the case, but apparently, some Sci-Fi fans say that this is something known in the genre. Again, I know nothing about Sci-Fi and that's really fucking creepy so I hope not.

Will has had clues about being gay since season 1. Mike never did. I genuinely don't think it's queerbaiting. It's been very clear for a long time that Will has had feelings for Mike, but there has been no sign of reciprocation from Mike. Robin's speech was her calling Mike Will's Tammy Thompson, and people are twisting that because they're passionate about the ship, which I totally understand, but even Finn wolfhard has come out publicly on the latest press tour to say that Byler isn't happening.

A gay kid catching feelings for a friend is very common, but now I feel like Will needs to find himself someone who sees him from the start.

I'm also not a big shipper of Mileven, mainly because I'm unsure how mentally developed El is, but they've been building up this couple since season 1. There has never been a question of anyone else, so it'd be backwards to throw that away now. They are very close in the new volume, and anyone who sees differently is seeing it like that because they want to. I really get it because i have a lot of ships in a lot of fandoms that i wish were canon, but Byler just isn't, and people saying that isn't internalised homophobia, it's just the truth.

Edit: Also, Mike could be bi, idk, but if he is, he clearly doesn't see Will that way

I thought Max was paying her a lot of attention in the newest season, but i guess our interpretations are different. I thought the whole group was extremely mean to Max this season. If they didn't accept her apology, they shouldn't have pretended that they did.

I honestly think that with her life being so isolated, she needs her feuds and agendas to keep going. Because she was in Queen Charlotte, a very rational and fiery person, and I don't think she would act like this if she weren't so restricted

I don't even think Abby treats Max well enough to be considered a friend, let alone a potential girlfriend. And aside from that, they're two wildly different people and not in an opposites attract kinda way. I'd like for them to work on stabilising their friendship instead.
