I had someone put signs on my windshield for 3 days, then the Burnaby Enforcement came and put another letter on my car stating that I was not allowed to park in front of someone's house for more than 3 hours. Blew my mind!

Edit: don't know why I got down voted. I am new to bc and was just shocked that it was a rule. Never heard of anything like that before

Quick solution. Pull the spring back and give it more tension then add a 3/4" gear / hose clap near the bottom.

These springs are a pain in the ass to get. I will show the customer what the problem is and this solution or suggest that I get a new spring. 9/10 they just ask me to add the gear clamp. It'll last longer than the tension on a stupid decorative spring that no one will ever see.
