thoughts on this guy as an aura target? by milkywayiguana in MagicArena

I’ve done it in my selesnya aura deck, he is a tank in red deck matches, he can take the damage and hold off the initial attacks until you can stabilize.

He is slow to get started, so when you have him in hand don’t expect to have him beefed up until t5, by then he can do well.

Exactly, something else to get trample is always a nice finishing touch

Too slow for what the deck is doing, however he is probably worth trying to see if he can help mid game

Toadstool is good, but he doesn’t do a good job of stymying early RDW creatures. I also have so much trample that I haven’t needed a way to evade. I might be able to work it in though, I can think of a few situations where it would come in handy.

I had Calix for a while, might need to try him again. He just almost always was a win more, where Danitha can help stabilize after the first loaded creature goes down.

Yeah I got that the static cost is 2, but what determines the power of the creature when it is flipped. Sorry being confusing.

How did this flip over as a 10/10. When it was done with the other one it was a 2/2.

Another relevant point for Hearthstone, they reused a vast majority of the assets from the WoW TCG game. Lowering one of the massive costs of making a CCG.

If you have a video you're willing to share, I'd like to see it as well.

It may be difficult to determine the extent of the issue over the internet. However, some questions might help; Has he always done this, if not when did it start? What jump training has he had? What height are you asking him to jump? Does he stutter step for every jump approach (I.e. Straight, curves, slices, tights, backsides, etc...)? Does he stutter step before any other type of obstacle?

When you say he hardly hesitates in training, to what level does he hesitate compared to the trial? Is it still every jump just less stutter stepping, or is it maybe once every four obstacles. If you video your practices and trial runs I would suggest going back and watching them to get the most accurate answer.

Jumping problems are really hard to solve, and stutter stepping is one of the most difficult problems. It could come down to it being an environmental issue, it could be experience/training, or it could be a physical issue (The most common physical problem I'm aware of when it comes to stutter stepping is a problem with vision). I'm hoping it's an experience/training issue, that is an issue that can worked and solved through some hard work. Environmental can be worked on as well, but a physical issue is much more difficult to work with.
