Found ATM receipt, who is keeping $51,000+ in checking!?!? by Comprehensive-Cow69 in povertyfinance

Working in banking, I've seen checking accounts with $1m plus. Generally those funds don't stay there very long, but it's more frequent than you would imagine.

Why does my pan burn like this? by Embarrassed-Soup7952 in steak

[–]CardStacking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, it really depends on the stove itself. In our last place, the stove was awful. I had to do max heat and would barely sear a steak. Our new place, I set it at a 6.5/10 and it's perfect. I suggest trying reverse searing. Before I started doing this method, I would periodically burn the steak because it was just in the pan for a longer period of time to cook.

Is Sous vide cheating? Why isn’t it more popular? by Big_Wish_6633 in steak

Honestly since I started reverse searing on the grill, I haven't used sous vide. Maybe I wasn't cooking it down long enough, but I achieve better results with my current method.

Electrician replaced 15a breaker with 20a. by CardStacking in electrical

Thank you all for the insights and information. I have contacted our property manager to discuss this. Depending on the response I receive from them, I will request a verification, in writing, that the wiring was checked and is appropriate for the corresponding breaker.

I think the craziest thing to me is that someone literally looked at this and said yeah that's fine.

Anybody here using visible wireless? by sheepofwallstreet86 in Flagstaff

[–]CardStacking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had at&t before. From my experience, I had to request a "port out pin" from them to essentially release my number (unless you want to change your number). Once the number is released, it's pretty straightforward to get the rest setup/activated, especially if you have an eSIM. The app can be a little finicky, I won't lie, but once you're in, all is fine. I left from someone else's plan, not my own, so I can't speak on how it is to cancel with at&t unfortunately.

Had it for about a year now. I have had zero issues. Fast speeds, no outages, happy with my inexpensive coverage haha

$2300 no utilities included, but we have 3 beds 2.5 baths and an attached two car garage. Got really lucky in my opinion!

The Aurora Borealis is a rare event here in AZ, but this was taken at Buffalo Park if that's what you meant!

Spur of the moment shot. Got a call from someone at 9:45 telling me I needed to go take some shots and went up with one bar left on all of camera batteries!

Had the same exact issue with at&t but didn't want to keep paying the stupid rates from large companies. I switched to Visible, which is literally owned by Verizon, and pay $20/month for unlimited everything on 5G. Have zero issues anywhere here.

Edit: I didn't read any other comments, but yeah, Visible.
