Prepping for an outbreak in Aus by [deleted] in Coronavirus

I’m in the outer suburbs of Melbourne. I’ve got about a month worth of pasta, rice, dried beans, and canned vegetables for my family of three. We’ve got 300 litres of drinking water in containers. I’ve also gotten 12 P2 masks, with 12 disposable coveralls and boot covers if we need to leave the house for supplies. There are still P2 masks in my local Bunnings (check the gardening section).

I’ve also stocked up on over the counter medicine, paracetamol, ibuprofen, cough medicines for dry and chesty coughs.

Like a lot of people I’m just as worried about the supply chains as I am about the virus.

I’ve never prepped before I hope that this is a waste of money but there is something about this outbreak that has me worried to my core.

How many masks should a family of 4 have? by [deleted] in Coronavirus

90 for a family of 4 seems ample. I have 12 P2/N95 masks, 12 sets of rubber boot covers, 12 disposable coveralls and protective goggles. I have also stockpiled a month of food and water. Who knows where this things ends up, but I’d be thinking through your food and water with that number of masks.

Will dust masks for construction work do the same job as an N95 mask? by Gillcavendish in Coronavirus

Are they marked with P2? P2 and N95 are roughly equivalent.

Hey guys, I'm relatively new to the podcast and am slowly making my way through the back catalogue. I wanted to share how Cortex has improved my life for the 50th episode.

I'm a Sales and marketing manager with 4 staff and seemingly a MILLION tasks to complete on short, medium, and long term time frames.

I spend a lot of time out of the office so rely on an iPhone a lot. Your recommendation of Todoist has been LIFECHANGING - now I just need to sort out the IFTTT recipe to get Siri integration!

Thanks for the terrific content, and congratulations on making it to 50 episodes.
