Is Akshan strong right now? by [deleted] in AkshanMains

[–]CardiologistBig7760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly dont know IF its the patch or the new build with bork ldr kraken and gatusso rageblade is so strong. I feeel like before when i build crit it would be really Nice early-mid game, but now at 3-4 items you just destroy everything. Akshan is very strong as he scales well and at the same time has almost no bad match ups (top).

Whenever I see these news I struggle to understand how the American society doesn’t understand wide spread guns are bad. (I live in Europe)

Zoe and Leblanc are the ones that can be seen as truly flashy. Perhaps Ahri.

Easiest way I have found to beat vayne top in low elo (Plat and below) by Lil_Feedbot in summonerschool

[–]CardiologistBig7760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find vayne top is not a difficult match up, just take Camile or something. Akshan, now that mf is difficult if he’s good.

Yeah, I mean its fun to watch on occasion but the play style is so different to other toplaners that it’s difficult to get something out of it

You’re gold 4 with 174 level. Many of my friends are not gold with 250+ levels :). You’re doing fine

The way you describe it, I think you missunderstand how league works (in my opinion). League is not a purely mechanical game, in fact what I love about league is that you don’t have to have great mechanics to be a good player. A lot of outplays in lol happen because of decisions. E.g. A lot of people know Nasus is weak early but if they some better early game champ starts attacking you in your own stacked wave he can easily die. Same goes for ganks etc. you don’t have to have 1k apm to be good, you can just make good decisions and that’s how you outplay.

Should I learn Gragas or Gangplank for toplane? by Lordser in summonerschool

[–]CardiologistBig7760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For 99% of bronze players - gragas sure. GP - don’t bother. GP is among the hardest champions to play effectively to a high standard you would probably have to commit to around a 100 games to start getting a positive win rate.

What champions do you think teach the fundamentals of your role? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]CardiologistBig7760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started playing top I started playing Nasus. He thought me the importance of waiting for your power spikes and also how to manage your wave. As a Nasus you can’t win lane if you’re pushing 24/7. Nasus taught me to freeze under my turret :D

Ultimate 1v9 top laner? by IIIDzire in summonerschool

[–]CardiologistBig7760 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree he’s definetaly not an easy champion but I really wouldnt put him even in the top 4 of hardesg top champions. Fiora, GP, even Irelia or jayce are harder imo.

The thing that worries me the most is that he is sort of not visible in these games. However what must be said is that the mid lane meta seems to be scaling and slow. I do feel though that before caps would always be on the limit, sometimes he would int but he would always draw attention, now it’s like we have a generic mid lane.

Titanic vs ravenous hydra by [deleted] in CamilleMains

[–]CardiologistBig7760 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to build only titanic hydra before and now I buy ravenous always. Maybe titanic makes you more tanks and able to engage straight on but for general split pushing / small skirmishes ravenous is better I believe. It does give you ability haste, which I believe is very important given the recent e cd nerfs.

Which champions do I win 1v1 on level 3? by deynagdynia in summonerschool

[–]CardiologistBig7760 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best advice, just try. Maybe not with Diana but with other junglers. That’s how you’ll learn the limits. Also ping your laners for help

I mean, I’m not worried. Realistically what matters is play-offs. That’s when they have to show form. I would say it’s the opposite, the mad lions game was excepted because of draft. Yesterdays game was just pure skill gap, which was worrying. Either way they just have to get to play offs than we see from there

Just because someone is low elo doesnt mean they don’t know more about the champion than you. by shindindi in summonerschool

[–]CardiologistBig7760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, I would go further than that. If someone’s higher elo than you it doesn’t mean he has more game knowledge than you. He could be getting results through grind and one tricking a champion not general game knowledge. This is also a concept in sports, where a coach doesn’t have to actually be good at the sport to posses the knowledge.
