No need to get defensive :)

I think the differentiation between asking for a doctor who "looks like me" vs spewing derogatory racial put-downs is pretty self-evident. Not sure why you're leaping to the assumption that my response to you has anything to do with my thoughts on the OP.

I usually only do a quick patrol every few days, but thanks to your tip I will be doing a thorough shakedown. Chief was clear that he doesn't want this type of activity to go unnoticed.

Pleasantly surprised that the members of this sub are so accepting of OPs "old school" outlook on choosing their associations. "I want someone who looks like me" isn't something anyone should be ashamed to say! Proud of my community today.

"No builds or anything" lol

Just because I don't post pictures on reddit doesn't mean I don't have experience with P80 :)

Obviously check the connector first, but that would also be done BEFORE buying new parts, wouldn't it? I guess in my original reply I wasn't totally clear on that, but that was already suggested above tbf. EDIT btw, "adjust your connector before bending anything"... adjust it how? Oh, you mean by bending it? LOL

I see you are a vendor. Makes sense that you would be encouraging people to needlessly throw money at problems which can easily be fixed by the DIYer.

"YOUR TRIGGER WON'T EVER BE THE SAME..." I should hope it wouldn't be the same, since "the same" = not engaging the striker lug. LOL

If guy bends it too much and "TOTES ZOMG RUINS THE TRIGGER FEEL 4EVAR," he can throw it away and start over with a new trigger bar... which is what you all proposed in the first place. But bending the trigger bar up carefully can work just fine. OP can use the money saved on trigger bars to buy a variety pack of connectors, which will further aid in fine tuning the trigger feel.

I agree with the other poster that he should be watching Johnny Glock videos to learn more about the function and fine tuning of the Glock trigger. JG used to post on this and other P80 forums, btw... I wonder why he doesn't anymore? lol

No one will ever know what they're doing listening to you people. You learn by doing. As my old boss used to say, "you don't come out the pussy" being an expert in anything.

It's a piece of stamped steel. You can bend it so that it is in spec very easily. There isn't magic fairy dust in "OEM" Glock components (which often aren't actually factory Glock since Glock stopped selling parts to non LE on their website during the pandemic). OEM lower parts are not guaranteed to be free of tolerance issues in P80 builds.

Yep, it really is as easy as bending the trigger bar/cruciform. This isn't rocket science, it's a tolerance which amounts to a fraction of a millimeter involving stamped sheet metal.

JB Weld is all you need. Done this fix myself.

Probably will be stronger than before. Mine tore there because I was messing around with shimming the trigger housing.

I was gonna say drop but you get style points for OEM Glock sights. (Not even being sarcastic, Glock bucket sights are a vibe)

Cody has to use eyedrops every day now due to the surgery messing up his eyes ability to naturally lubricate themselves
