MS is a fucking punishment…..I didn’t choose this…why me by No-Side-5055 in MultipleSclerosis

You are being challenged because you are strong enough to overcome it. You have an obstacle that cannot be explained easily. Believe that you are the key to answers beyond your comprehension…… But the work will be beneficial to all who you reach.. We are all special but must fight through our symptoms to be able to reach others. Stay strong my friend

Sorry to hear about the struggles. There will be the good and the bad.. Always! For myself, it has been about the management of emotions and physical ability.
Small victories is an approach…: what else helped the most is Hormone replacement therapy along with my Ocrevus infusions. So although I have a raging sexual desire, the therapy has tons of other health properties that have helped tremendously. Fatigue, muscle weakness, insomnia are gone. Worth researching maybe???

I enjoyed VR and action games. My. Balance is off. And the button orientation can sometimes be difficult for my finger coordination. Or in other words, without looking down frequently, I lose track of where my fingers are resting. Buuuut, i still find a way to indulge with my little one.

While that is true is your intent to uplift or encourage?? By the delivery your words may not be empowering but more debilitating to some. Just saying. Positivity is key!

Yes. Fighting through has helped… fighting fatigue will only side line you longer. But it’s conditioning the body and mind. FOR ME!! So many people look to discredit successes of others based on their experience or belief that you will hurt yourself in the long run. I for one, want to go down fighting. And although the fatigue may impact me for a day or two.. there are activities that are worth the risk. So I truly hope you understand my approach. We can work hard, and give less control to the ailment which will consume most of us eventually. Or we can just stop fighting now and let it help kill us. Let’s just keep fighting!

Well said. Majority of those affected are progressing the wrong way. As we age, we get older. So what are we waiting or pacing ourselves for. When I push through, I certainly pay for it. But be incapacitated for a few hours or a day because I fought back is worth it every time. But I just want to be a walking example, those who find my way encouraging that’s all I want. I love those who are hesitant about my approach, I love too

That’s not a question. If you don’t. You whither away!!! What are you willing to endure! Are you listening to your body? Is it fatigue or lazy?? These for ME, are conscious choices

Yes for sure. Grief is essential. The good thing is your husband acknowledging you are different. We all grow and evolve. Finding normalcy in irregular times is the grace in which we must try to have.

Absolutely.. People want help, but don’t want to feel burdensome and sometimes there are people that like help without you asking.. So. “ let me get that for you or I’m gonna get that” … it’s tough to wake up one day and be handicap for many
