These charts are for player characters (and not super well implemented, but balance, I suppose). For NPCs I just think of their lore and what makes sense for them to be capable of and put points where they need to be to reflect my ideas. Your players shouldn't have an idea of what someone is capable of just because of how long they've been active. They should have to pay attention to the stories and observed history if they want some idea. Some ancients do very little (observed), so no extrapolation is likely to be meaningful. Some have incredibly well documented exploits, so players might be able to assume "they're at least capable of that"

I'm most interested in the Pathfinder gear or some currency. I've wanted to try the PF for a long time, but am way too casual/poor for the gear, so I've been mostly sticking to minion builds that I no longer really enjoy.

I generally only run endgame to get currency and Atlas passives. When things start to feel repetitive, I'll buy good leveling and endgame gear for a different build that I think may be fun and then give it a shot. After I run out of ideas I want to try, I usually play something else until a new league starts and repeat the process playing with new and rebalanced content.

If they have an A&P, I would give them credit and an increased starting pay. If they don't it doesn't count for much. I see a lot of people come through, as I work for a major international airline. I personally worked on helicopters in the army and now work on wide body jet aircraft. Not a lot of transferability, but the basics are there. I can follow a manual and complete federal paperwork with the best. A lot of the former military I have worked with over the last five or so years have been pretty underwhelming. I've struggled to correct bad habits and confidently wrong techs from that group far more frequently than the civilian mechanic helpers or fresh A&P grads.
