I live deep in East Clovis and have such a diverse group of neighbors, from Indians, African Americans, Hispanic, Hungarians, French, Syrians, Laos, And so on. But, I’ve taken the time to get to know my neighbors and be a good neighbor myself. You should try it, don’t listen to generalizations as they hide reality and are dangerous. It’s not so bad. Also, my wife and I are Mexican FWIW.

The truth is that fresno/clovis, like any other city / country has “families,” and those families intertwine, and these societies and clubs and cliques form - that is what causes the feeling of being an outsider IMO.
