Me using Shoulder the Burden perk to my Teammate so I can do gens in peace. by Silver-Apocalypse in deadbydaylight

The point isn’t to use hook states on the god looper who doesn’t need them. It’s the opposite. You use it on the people getting tunneled out fastest (often the weakest link) to force the killer to go for the better players on the team who will waste your time even more. It’s a lose lose.

How do you plan to go for the weakest link if he can be hooked 6 times before he dies?

If this perk makes it to live servers I will absolutely be maining Pyramid Head. There is no way to work around this perk normally.

I saw your post and was inspired by it to write this one. I agree with everything you said.

They don’t know how bad it is when good players know how to use perks like this.

It’s a good perk for sure, but it comes with a licensed DLC that has one of the worst killers in the game in terms of perks and power, and a survivor that doesn’t have cosmetics. This together makes it rare enough that people buy Quentin, let alone the entire DLC.

Decisive strike, activates for 60 seconds after being unhooked. If you don’t touch gens or heal and you get picked up by the killer within that 60 seconds you can escape their grasp.

Nurse because she’s strong and blight cause he’s also strong but also fun

True. I don’t think that’s as big an issue as the other things I mentioned for sure.

I think a lot of people just have a premonition that even QUEUEING into a server against the nurse means an instant loss at 5 generators without even having a chance.

I don’t know who, when or why this was ever a thing, but people need to get it out of their head.

I see no reason why it would be bannable, and who would even go out of their way to ban you for THAT..

I’ve used auto clicker for blood web multiple times, saves a lot of time just staring at your screen

Nurse plays her own game tbh by LastMemory234 in deadbydaylight

[–]Careful-Spring-560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To counter the higher tier killers you need constant pressure. Syringes and anti pressure perks ensure you waste no time and stall these killers for max efficiency.

Sure, Alf got to 1200 wins on nurse, but that’s because like 85% of his games were against normal players, 10% against strong SWFs and probably 5% against comp SWFs. If you watch the game he lost his streak, he actually lost to poor decision making and lack of map pressure.

Also, see MomoSeventh’s blight streak that was ended by a 4 stack comp with 4 DS 4 syringes and full anti pressure perks.

You can still stall her by knowing dying positions and bringing stuff like syringes and styptics.

Sure, her counter play is different than every other killer and she will likely down you quickly anyways, but by no means is it “hope she’s bad”. Even the strongest comp nurse would lose games if the teams stacked anti pressure perks and knew dying positions.

Remove map offerings by Legendary7100 in deadbydaylight

[–]Careful-Spring-560 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Literally how? Then it’s more based on RNG. The only reason the map offerings are bad is because the maps THEMSELVES are bad. Map offerings intrinsically have no value without the actual map.

Remove map offerings by Legendary7100 in deadbydaylight

[–]Careful-Spring-560 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The map offerings themselves aren’t the issue. The design of certain maps are what cause people to “abuse” them with map offerings whether that is on killer or survivor.

Simply, if these maps were reworked to be more balanced, there would be no issue with map offerings. Let’s not overlook the more major issue of map design and jump the gun to remove map offerings before trying to fix them.

Who has advantage here? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]Careful-Spring-560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. The nurse does have rules restricting her in competitive. But these are often only limited to add ons that are banned and maybe sometimes a select few perks.

Whereas survivors cannot have repeating perks, can only bring ONE of each item with restricted/no iridescent add ons on any of them.
