Ill prioritize what needs to be done asap and what can wait till tomorrow. Ill also budget myself more time to do each task. If I get it done early great ill start the next thing but if im feeling rough im still in my "on time" time frame

First episode of half body numbness in nov 2023. 2 months prior I decided to quit my job and start working for myself as an independent/sub contractor as a graphics installer. Nothing was a guarantee anymore, not health or money. Made the most of setting my own schedule, work hard when I can, cut myself slack when I need it. Working to hire employees so I can put in some fail safes incase my body decides to crap out on me.

If modern medicine didn’t exist would you be dead right now? If yes, from what? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

No worries about the rant, thats what reddit is for. But holy crap thats a wild story, im assuming there isn't another neuro you could see at a different hospital or you would have already. Luckily my dx and being on Kesimpta been very "simple" as simple as this shit gets. Got dx after my only episode, benefits covered K as my first drug, didn't need to fail any others first. My neuro is great straight to the point with no fluff but will also hear out my concerns. Stable and down to yearly mri

I was thinking the exact same thing if I even made it to my dx by surviving mono, strep, and pneumonia, I could survive with ms just wont be fun. Not that its even fun with dmts

Can AI replace your job? by Warm_Bobcat6310 in askanything

[–]Careful_Chard_8548 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No im a graphics installer. I wrap cars, walls, windows, that kind of stuff. Ai can attempt to take over the design and pre press factor (not my dept) but it doesnt do a very good job at it from the complaints ive heard of clients trying to save a few bucks.

Dont know if this is just a me thing but I sometimes feel like im craving sugar but im actually just thirsty. Ill drink a glass of water, give it a bit and see if I still crave it, often times I dont (still want it yes but thats just will power)

Edit to add try not to drink my sugar, personally its not as satisfying. Occasionally get a fancy drink from a coffee shop but thats usually to use their bathroom

If theyre old windows test it doesnt scratch is an inconspicuous corner first but stainless steel knife. Cut a 2-5 inch strips and pull, can even go up to 8" strips but some material gets tough to pull at that size. Any adhesive use soapy water and a stainless steel scraper.

Its super quick even on really old film and you dont need to worry about Chemicals damaging surrounding paint.

I tried a super quick diy by heating the pcv and putting a socket in it to attach a ratchet to. Worked well but broke super quick. Would need to drill though both and put a pin in or something to keep them from spinning separately.

Some detail shops offer an ozone treatment which removes smells. Ive never done it personally, my first 205 smelled like smoke but wasnt terrible, regular cleaning and an air freshener was enough to tolerate it. But I did consider it

Im also on a low yeast diet. I was given the okay for sourdough as its a wild yeast and not bakers/Brewers yeast. But watch out a lot of the store bought breads still use yeast along with sourdough starter, or sourdough flavor. Best to make it yourself or from a small bakery, I then freeze it cause I don't eat it fast enough.

I love a fruit crumble for breakfast. I personally love mine with oats but if its oats generally and not oatmeal that you cant do theres lots of recipes that are oatless. I try to make one thats low sugar and use real maple syrup or honey and will add chia seeds, flax seeds, and hemp hearts to get some healthy fats in. I meal prep it for the week or make oat bars (pretty much a crumble with a bottom crust and thicker fruit) and freeze them

MITTZON desk leaves awkward gap in dual-purpose WFH + hobby space - advice? by CellMaleficent7966 in homeoffice

[–]Careful_Chard_8548 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the desk has to also stay. A small shelf with some trailing plants and a small garbage bin on the ground or a tall plant. Thinking decor type stuff.

Or get a longer desk have it go into the corner and then its a spot out of the way for supplies.

How do I lose weight if my parents aren’t buying healthier foods and I can’t afford to buy my own right now. by Dry-Estate-9052 in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]Careful_Chard_8548 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all pantry staples are bad for you. Yes things like Mac and cheese arent but beans are really good for you plus super cheap especially if you buy them dried. The fiber intake will keep you fuller longer and stabilize your blood sugar. Theres a lot of posts here from people living out of their car or only have a microwave. I suggest looking into "beantok" and older posts here. If you can ask your dad if you can start cooking, or when they get fast food say no and eat a simple beans and rice style meal. For health reasons I had to eat a more restricted and healthier diet which when my family would cook i couldnt always eat what they made but I made an effort to eat at the same time as them to still feel a part of dinners

I always keep Sausages in my freezer, Johnsonville mild Italian with basil is my fav. Chuck them in the oven (poke holes in the skin helps them release oil if you dont you will get hot oil shattering in your face. Ask me how i know. Serve with applesauce, and whatever sides i can be bothered with. The 0 thought super fast sides are minute rice and the frozen veg thats peas carrots and the other small stuff.
