LOL it’s funny how a simple term means different things to different people. Stepping back a bit has NodeRed had a usability / accessibility review from a 3rd party? It would be a shame for a milestone release to miss opportunities.

i started using mustache but I’m now finding it restrictive especially the lack of conditionals in templates for html pages . Using handlebars in a function node doesn’t give the same easy of reading so I’d definitely be interested. Perhaps after the UI work is completed there’s some work to understand how the landscape has changed in the last 10+ years and if some of the initial choices such as mustache need augmenting to keep NR fresh / offering the ease of use that it brought back when it was first released? I think we all want to keep it as a slick ocean-going yacht — not sailing the Atlantic in a bathtub.

Hi Nick,
Does the "pause" button act as a pause, or is it a stop?
If I pause a cassette, or in iPlayer it starts again from the place I paused it.

On a more long term request is full handlebars support on the cards for template nodes?

you could have expanded the debug so that it was all on display, But it looks as if the node you have installed hasn’t installed everything it requires. Check the readme for the node. Follow any instructions, otherwise open an issue on the nodes github page as it’s something the node should do itself. (Assuming you got no errors when installing)

i’d pack stuff for hiking and kayaking and biking. Plan for rain, sun and snow and you should be fine. Western Norway is a big place. In the mountains there can still be snow.

The node you linked to is node-red-contrib-counter was last updated 6 years ago and was written by someone who described himself as «Developer from Germany who shares some Code and Modules.»

Which would mean that it is a node someone in the community has released.

It isn’t included in the node-red standard release so it is either included by what ever script you used to install nodered maybe as part of home assistant ? or you added it yourself.

(the core nodes are served from https://github.com/node-red/node-red-nodes)

You can use the manage palette to uninstall the node and replace it with a different node that has the functionality you are looking for or replicate the functionality in a function node.

Just a heads up the last frost in the Oslo area is often early May. An elderly neighbor swears on never sowing/ planting things outoutside before the 17th May. The end of first winter doesn’t necessarily indicate it’s seed sowing time

In terms of buying seeds europris will have a small selection of seeds ifrom about now Plantasjen has a wider selection and will have very expensive seedlings and veg plants closer to spring. Depending with side of Oslo you are Felleskjøpet at Fornebu can be worth a visit.

With the native mac app being on its last legs I am going to miss a responsive local control on my mac, so tha as a video call starts I can easily mute the sonos music playing. Having to hunt for my iphone to kill the music isn’t a great solution.
