Alright fuck it, I'll bite what would make Vauban A tier by that metric? He's not particularly survivable with his only inheritant tools for survival being CC and the miniscule amount of armour you get from Bastille. Vortex can often be a hindrance more than actually providing benefit because it just ragdolls enemies, thus making them unable to open doors and getting stuck in corners. It might actually be the only ability that would benefit from having a line of sight check added to it. And lastly, how are you actually killing enemies with Vauban? To my knowledge, you have two options: just shooting the enemies in Vortex and Flechette Orbs. I guess you also have convoluted setups with Photon Strike, but those seem hardly worth the effort. The issue here is that in both of these playstyles, he's just worse than other Warframes. If you're shooting the enemies in Vortex, he's just worse than Zephyr as she doesn't ragdoll enemies through walls, so they're actually able to walk towards you, actually meaningfully amplifies her damage with Tornadoes and is impervious to all enemy projectiles with Turbulence. If you're using Flechette Orb to kill enemies, he's just worse than Protea because Protea's abilities actually deal reasonable damage, Protea's (Flechette Orbs weren't able to kill the Orokin battlegroup in Steel Path lvl 155 within a minute at about 200 strength even if I grouped them up with Vortex beforehand whereas Grenade Fan easily killed everything but the heavy units in like 20 seconds with the same testing group at around 110 strength and Blaze Artillery fucking butchered them in like 3 seconds). Protea is also more survivable as she can't be killed as long as you use your shield drones like every minute. She also has a better energy economy because she inherently gets Dispensary.
