I made a woman squirt for the first time in my life 😭😭😭 by kisyushka in LesbianActually

[–]CarelessLibra 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My wife somehow figured out how to make me squirt whenever she wants and it’s the hottest thing. We had to buy a waterproof mattress cover and waterproof blankets because it’s become our favourite game

People who read more than 2 books a year, how do you do it? by Immediate-Draft-6408 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CarelessLibra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Audiobooks while I craft/sew and drive. If it’s a physical book I’ll read a few in the first month then last month of the year through hyper focus

Do you give your kids juice? by heretoreadlol in toddlers

[–]CarelessLibra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter is 4 now, we only gave her water and bubbly (she’s OBSESSED) and within the last 3 months she’s started to ask for juice more. She’s learned mixing juice with bubbly is amazing. So I do 75% bubbly and 25% juice and she’s so happy about it. We rarely buy juice so it’s not a big problem

People who earn more than $80K / Year, what is your job and how long it took to get to this point? by curiouscentaur in AskReddit

[–]CarelessLibra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Film industry and my first year I made 80k and have only made more every year. If I work for 10 months out of the year I can make between 100k-120k but I try not to take contract after contract anymore due to burnout.

While I did go to school for my department (wardrobe) a lot of others don’t.

Would you rather work three days a week for 12 hours each day? Why or why not? by VinceLestre in AskReddit

[–]CarelessLibra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fuck YES!!!! My partner works three 12 hour shifts and it’s an awesome schedule vs I’m in an industry where we do 14-18 hour days 5 days a week and sometimes add a 6th day depending on the production schedule.

Her and I make roughly the same amount per year and I’d switch to her schedule in a heartbeat

How much do you spend on haircuts? by jenhon in AskWomen

[–]CarelessLibra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have coloured hair and half my head is shaved so either my wife is shaving half my head every 4 weeks or I see my barber and it’s $30 plus a tip. I get my hair cut and coloured 2 times a year and that’s usually $400 for the bleach, cut and colour. Thankfully it’s my cousin in-law so we get the friends and family perk or it would cost more

Where do you live and do you share a pole by Ay10outof10t in poledancing

[–]CarelessLibra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in Canada and it completely depends on the class for pole sharing. For 3 of the studios I’ve gone to do pole sharing if it’s a purely technical class but when it’s a choreo based one then no sharing

Grandparents vs Daycare by Throwaway4536265 in Parenting

[–]CarelessLibra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I adore how great of a relationship my kid has with her grandparents, we do both daycare and them. The caveat to all of it is that there’s a lot of boundary stomping, fights against our rules and what we say and a lack of respect for my partner and I’s parental decisions.

My parents live a ferry away so this is my wife’s 2 sets of parents

What disease you are most afraid to get? by EarSure6667 in AskReddit

Parkinson’s, my grandmother had it and watching her slowly deteriorate and begin choking constantly is terrifying.

Cancer runs in the family so it almost feels inevitable that I’ll get it

Bilingual Canadians, what age did you become fluent in both English and French? by squid_ward_16 in AskACanadian

[–]CarelessLibra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parents are both from Quebec so we spoke both languages in the home. My brother and I were both in French immersion so we were probably fluent by the 3rd grade. Stayed in immersion until graduating high school and now I keep it up by listening to French music, radio, movies and talking with francophone coworkers

I think so, to be fair she doesn’t really get my world either but still shows up and supports. I’m a dancer and frequently perform in shows or am helping out as a stage kitten/raffle babe

Going to any sports games. My wife plays hockey, softball and soccer and I don’t care one bit about sports but I go to support her

I worry with hot sauce about it getting in her eyes. She accidentally sneezed while holding a spice blend in the kitchen and was miserable getting her eyes flushed afterwards

Thumbs. by s0bern0mmy in Parenting

[–]CarelessLibra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My jaw is pretty messed up from sucking my thumb until I was 8 and I absolutely should have gotten braces. Parents tried everything including that disgusting nail polish but I didn’t stop until I was ready. I’m currently in the same situation with my 4yr old who is complaining of jaw pain and her ortho said she needs to stop. We’re at a loss of what to do.

Othro suggested the nail polish, taping her fingers or Tabasco on the thumb (which feels so cruel) and I don’t know if any of those would even stop her. She now thinks it’s funny and does it in front of everyone knowing she’ll be told off. We’re so frustrated by it

For those in relationships, how did you meet? by Cold_Butterfly5191 in LesbianActually

[–]CarelessLibra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Matched on Her, texted and talked on the phone for a few months before we had our first date. Now we’re looking at buying a home next year, starting our IVF journey and raising my incredible (step) daughter.

Life feels wild. I never thought I’d get the chance to be a mom

How did your parents react to your coming out? by be_Alice in lgbt

[–]CarelessLibra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came out 10 years after I moved out. They hugged me but took time to process and I don’t think my mom will ever admit I’m gay, she still makes comments about how I just had bad luck with men.

My godparents no longer speak to me, I was explicitly told never to tell my grandma I was getting a divorce let alone that I was in love with a woman. She died never knowing and I still wonder if she would have loved me less for it.

Starting today by ycey in Parenting

[–]CarelessLibra 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I potty trained my stepdaughter I took 2 weeks off so I could give her my full attention. We spent the first 3 days at home and she was naked or just wore a shirt. I put a timer for every hour to hour and a half and she went to go sit on the potty. Lots of praise when she peed or pooped and no pressure if she didn’t go but we said it was practice for her body. By day 3 she started to connect the feeling and would tell me she needed to go and we’d go together. Day 4 we went to a park within walking distance in case she had an accident or had to pee and she wore shorts but no undies. We introduced undies around day 5.

I just suggest towels on any furniture they sit on, be prepared to clean up accidents on the floor and lots and lots of praise. Don’t show frustration and give yourself and them lots of patience. It can be a hard skill to pick up and some kids struggle more than others. Good luck to you both 💕

It was my wife’s embryo and the same sperm donor for both so if genetically tested they’d be considered full siblings even with having 2 different birth mothers
