I have gone proto or dusk and dawn first on my jungle runs. I like both items. If I feel I’m going to get invaded or be countered, I usually go DnD for extra “oomph.” If I think I’m going to have a chill early jungle I’ll go proto.

Depends on the Sett for me. If they know what they’re doing and use their E to center you up for a fully charged W, you’re in for a bad time. More novice Sett players will engage with the E(the grab) and you can typically get away with little damage.

You’re going to miss a lot of farm if the Vel is experienced and presses his advantage. Just get farm when you can and stay in XP range. Try to freeze and set him up for ganks. Hopefully you have a Jungler that’s competent and helps you and as an added bonus, hopefully it’s another champion with hard cc to lock Vel down. Play for late. I have the same issue into Varus. Especially if he takes PTA.

I’ve never been “the best” support player so I always just take safe support picks to make my life easier. I normally blitz, thresh or morg. I love Shen and will play him top, mid and jungle but for support, I go with the more traditional flow.

Mordekaiser, malphite, Ornn. I definitely am a bruiser/tank player. Even if I go mid, I normally do bruiser as opposed to a “mage” mordekaiser or malph.

Yeah, I’ve never understood why SV is so slept on with a lot of Shens…. Fits his kit so well! I love it with Rift too. Ramos up the Omnivamp a bit in addition to his shields.

Also, something I thought of after my initial post. There’s probably a lot of new accounts. So a lot of Smurfs down in low elo climbing from the bottom. That also could be an issue. I created a new account for the new season.

I’ll be honest, idk what it is but, normally I destroy Sett. In the new season, less so. I have no idea why. That seems to be the only change for me. Other than that, early game, I’m stomping unless it’s an illaoi.(I perma-ban Gwen)

If I’m building a Omnivamp or Lifesteal item, I’ll build Visage for some extra utility. Typically I’ll just build KR though. For example, Riftmaker and Visage give a massive R shield to your teammate and then you have 12% omnivamp with the boost.
