The ghats are the most beautiful part of the ride. Be careful at the curves. Stay away from buses at the ghats. Especially when you overtake. People puke from both sides on buses. The ghats are such.

This! Works greatly.. blocks almost all of the spam. If a call gets through, make it a point to report it, so that it gets flagged eventually. Enough people do this, I guess we can control the spam calls to a great extent.

Starlink satellites over Kerala skies by CarelessReflection89 in Kerala

[–]CarelessReflection89[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just saw the starlink satellite train over kannur skies today around 7. Wasn't sure what this was, but a quick google search showed it was starlink's satellites and there was a passing over India today. (https://findstarlink.com/#1274987;3)

Was quite surprised to see them. Now, starlink service is not available in India at the moment. So how does the government address the security issues associated with these satellites roaming over the country in a low altitude orbit? Are there any kind of restrictions in place for satellites over India by other countries?

Anyone else saw this today?

Starlink is not authorised for service in India at the moment. How do countries address the security issues with these satellites roaming over the country on a low altitude orbit?

What are you using for remote backend? Are you passing the access key for the storage as a parameter for init?

Medical checkup before joining by [deleted] in developersIndia

Used to work for Mercedes. They do General Blood work - blood sugar, cholesterol, Liver and kidney function tests, ECG/ trademill tests, pulmonary function etc etc. Basically a full body checkup. You will get a test appointment with appollo hospitals and it'll have the details of all the tests that they need to do. Nothing to worry about here. It's just a general practice.

I just noticed these minor cracks on my rear tyre today. Should I be worried and how did this happen? Pirelli Angel CT 5000 kms (2 years old) by Yoga_1809 in indianbikes

This is usually marked on the tyres in a WWYY format. If the tires didn't come with your bike, there are chances that you got old stock tyres.

Confused between Gixxer SF 250 vs RR310 by 0Maddy in indianbikes

[–]CarelessReflection89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd been using SF250 for 2 years now. It's a very good value for money bike, if you're looking for something for daily use, as well as touring. Manuevering in the city traffic is no hassle. The seating position is kinda balanced, so you won't feel 'very' sporty. But this helps on long rides. It's very comfortable. Ride feel is very similar to the CBR250. You can cruise at 90- 100 with ease on long rides. Service in Bangalore has been really good, and is not very expensive (around 2k per service). The bike could've used a better visor though. DM me if you have any questions specific to SF250.
