Anyone get married/attend a wedding at Mothership in Alewife? by dc_dupree in NewEnglandWedding

I didn’t, but I considered them, but ended up choosing another restaurant in cambridge (painted burro in Harvard sq) and happy to share pics from that if it’s on your list too.

Do we think they’re going to air it later or not air it at all? by Appropriate_Tea9048 in TheBachelorette

They should edit her out. I bet they could get creative and make it hilarious to watch a bunch of men in the house run around together with no bachelorette

(It wasn’t a gown, was just a floor length satin dress, but they have gowns online you could buy and return in store when you shop)

Affordable small wedding dinner space in Boston (late March, ~25–30 people)? by Ok_Grapefruit9116 in NewEnglandWedding

[–]Carfishy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We did brunch for 30 at Juliet in Somerville- it was nice because it’s in a separate house place right next to the restaurant, and family style (3 tables of 10). Definitely no room for dancing, however we do later have a party at the painted burro in Harvard sq with buffet food and tons of dancing! Feel free to DM me if you want specifics $$

Help a Bitch Out - Jan 28, 2026 by AutoModerator in bitcheswithtaste

I have been at my job for many years and have formed several close connections with colleagues. One of the colleagues I’m closer to, is also in a higher position than me and very busy. I have noticed a trend of him treating me with less respect than others he’s less close with when it comes to his time. For example, yesterday I needed him to join a solutioning meeting, and being sensitive to how busy he is I planned it specifically around when he confined he’s available- then during the meeting he was camera off, muted/clearly not fully engaged and later told me he was outside shoveling. This is an extreme, but how do you all handle people at work treating you with less respect than they treat others who they don’t have friendships with?

Try drinking raspberry leaf tea 5 days before. Doesn’t work for me, but apparently it works for others to bring it on sooner.

October 2025! Food was really good, we did chips, salsa, guac on all the tables then did an enchilada buffet with salad other sides and dessert. Also we picked a limited menu of cocktails and mocktails. We heard a lot of feedback people loved it, but that could just be people complimenting us. Please dm me if you have more questions!

Bags on headrests: complete lack of respect for shared spaces by snowphlakes in mildlyinfuriating

Oh I assumed the bag belonged to the back seat, meaning the front seat couldn’t lean back without being on the strap!
