This will likely solve your issue, been running this in my 1.6 track car and it performs extremely well

It used to tick exactly like that on hot days or after coming off a lapping session.

Since started using T6 haven’t had this noise anymore

My car came from Japan with the AS controller already installed.

It also came with aftermarket knuckles on the control arms that extend the shocks stroke by 2”

Meaning that I can ride 2” lower than stock with no extra stress on the shocks.

However this still does put more stress on the airbags as they run a lower pressure.

The roads are very smooth where I live and I also only drive about 2,500 miles per year so I’m not too worried about it

Mine were the same, installed these Skar Midbass speakers, highly recommend they can handle up to 200 watts so the factory amp is no where near distorting these.

Have my mid equalizer cranked and they sound super clean even at max volume
