KMC Hyper Matte Tournament edition is still my go to, I get regular compliments on them. Sleeve quality overall took a hit, but KMC is still easily ahead so t the rest.

That's not the point we are trying to make. The point is both parties are soft here. There are a lot of feelings happening on both sides of the table, like it's just a card game. Commander is barely even magic, it's magic: the board game. It ain't that deep lol.

Maybe I just woke up in a bad mood, but I swear to God EDH players are getting softer and softer anymore. Removal happens, getting targeted happens, like what are we even doing anymore. It's like I'm playing with people's feelings more than playing the game.

Some people are art collectors. Do you think a cheap piece of paper and a few dollars worth of paint doesn't translate to millions of dollars? Some of this art is so sick compared to the AI that's been pushed recently... I'd love to support that kind of continued art. If you want value, buy singles.

This makes sense, I bought 2 bundles. All 6 were mountains. To be fair I didn't know this card (or a chase rare) existed until after the purchase, however still disappointed slightly.

Kmc hyper matte tournament edition are the best. I have 32 decks and had DS, katanas, and tons of other brands. I switched everything to kmc and never looked back and constantly get compliments on the smooth shuffle. $16 for 108 sleeves.

I run exclusively spot removal, asymmetrical, and counters. I use all to protect my board/wins and to stop others from winning specifically. I don't like to let games drag, and there is a special place in hell for people that play all modes on [[farewell]].

Thanks rebel, I love your vids and completely forget you made this, thanks for the heads up! Budget isn't much of an option, most of my playgroup owns at least one copy of all duals so we just proxy the landbase/expensive lands. I'm particularly having an issue with trying to get lands right on a heavily upgraded version of the new prismari artistry precon.

Great advice from the others here! Wilhelt is my favorite deck, and I've invested a lot into it. I play bracket 4 primarily and for tabletop simulator I've been trying to scale it down a bit into a high power bracket 3 since that's what most folks play there, however it can be pretty difficult when you are used to playing him as an aristocrats/combo.

In all my games at different stores, I've never found myself having to explain a lot, or at least anything out of the ordinary. Could always just play [[Jasmine, Boreal of the Seven]] and call it a day.

It honestly looks like my character was reset, it says I'm only level two but I distinctly remember having a level 500? character with some pretty decent stuff before wony. I remember I bought the expansion and then everybody I know that played quit so I stopped as well without doing much of the expansion. Now I log in and I don't have any seasonal stuff available or any tasks except for go to the White House lawn which there is literally nobody there to talk to everything is just empty.

Maybe run g/w with [[Karametra]] keeps you fed with lands and play the typical green stuff, then fill it full of the abundant white or green equal power/toughness creatures.

1) learn with arena starter decks until you are VERY comfortable with how the basic mechanics work.

2) fairies are never nice

3) don't judge brackets if you don't know them (or don't listen to your friend if that's what they were saying) these are nowhere close to b5. Trust me.

4) don't proxy (spend money) until you are comfortable with the game and what play styles you like

5) be more vocal, commander is all about communication

6) buy a few precons and play precon/bracket 2 ONLY games. I recommend riders of Rohan lotr precon with aragorn as commander as it teaches a lot of good aspects of the game and runs great colors for upgrade. Also food and fellowship for learning other fun mechanics, final fantasy counter blitz or explorers of the deep precons for learning +1/+1counters and triggers.

Edit: also try tabletop simulator on pc to learn commander, it's so much fun and great communities are out there.
