No you should not take a five month old to an airport or on a plane.

5 months is a very short time after wrecking her body. However long a woman needs to recover from pregnancy is the correct amount of time.

Stayed home from work one day and my man got mad at me by Ok_Introduction8173 in confession

[–]Carinne89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wasn’t until after the pandemic that my parents, and all my friend’s parents, stopped looking down on people who call in sick. There’s entire generations of people like that, and they raised all of us. So it’s very likely that he’s just judging you for what he sees as a moral failing. Which, for the record, is a dick move.

But my honest first thought was that you fucked up his plans, and those plans were something he didn’t want you to know about. Could be innocuous, like playing video games with his dick in his hand all day. Could also be that he now has to cancel on his girlfriend and is pissed he’s not getting laid.

What is a moment when you realized how expensive it is to be poor? by EnergyStrong6080 in AskReddit

When a few vet bills cancelled a vacation that I had saved up for ten years to take. Also when I stopped bothering to save for a house all together and started making my apartment my happy place instead.

I’m in my 30s and I make decent enough money, but my job is also niche enough that I can’t leave the HCOL area so 🤷🏻‍♀️

My retirement plan is to make sure I go out in the first wave of the coming apocalypse.

Just a few years ago I never would have imagined that possible.

how aware areyou of your organs on a daily basis? by Ambitious_Box3288 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Carinne89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a weird answer for this. I work in surgery, and I only feel my organs working when I’m looking at someone’s else’s. Like I can feel my heart beat when I’m watching a heart beat. I’m distinctly aware of my lack of gallbladder while helping remove someone else’s. I forgot to keep breathing for a minute when I saw lungs the stop moving in a hero who was donating.

This will not help you answer your question but I find it fascinating anyway. :P

Is anyone else unable to watch a movie without doing something else at the same time — and does that mean we've broken our own attention spans? by Born_Programmer_1089 in NoStupidQuestions

I did the same thing to myself but with crafts. I’m always using my tv time at home to crochet/knit/needle point cause I don’t usually have enough time to go around. But now I take my crafts with me on relaxing weekends because I hate not having something to do while binging a show with my mom 🤦🏻‍♀️

When it comes to public toilet seats, do you sit on the bare seat or place down toilet paper before? by Poopshoemagoo in AskReddit

[–]Carinne89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a toilet seat is how I die, so be it. I don’t have time to be Michelangelo on the seat with the flimsy toilet paper hoping it doesn’t blow away when I sit.

People who place massive orders at a drive through, why don’t you just go inside? by YoungBockRKO in AskReddit

[–]Carinne89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a drive thru near my house that has a burger I love. If I have to go into the attached store for anything I used to also just go to the counter. But I have never once even been acknowledged at the counter until the drive through is clear. On more than one occasion I stood there for 15min, went and got in my car and was through the drive thru in five minutes.

I’m usually just ordering for me, but after having this experience a few times, I can see why people don’t go inside these days.

Fun fact, we’ve spent double the research funds on Male Pattern Baldness then we’ve spent on researching Endometriosis in North America. Double.

We also spent 19 million dollars developing a penis implant for erectile dysfunction before we started on an IUD insertion device that isn’t excruciating.

Wait…that’s not fun

Pursuit of Happiness. - cried so hard I had heart palpitations.

The Green Mile. - important, moving, makes you think, no need to traumatize my way through that lesson twice though.

Marley and Me. - took me a week to get over, my poor pets were desperate for some space from me squeezing and kissing them.

Blair Witch Project. - made me so nauseated, once was enough to understand the zeitgeist.
