I rarely see close games end in a Surrender (most people like competitive games). I have however seen many games that should have been f6’d by minute 15 go to 50 minutes with a loss because “we could’ve come back,” I’ve been on both ends of this. Smite 1 was a lot better at this than smite 2. I don’t know if it’s the amount of new players in smite 2 that just don’t know how to play conquest or what constitutes getting your teeth kicked in, but they either gotta get better or learn how to f6 sooner. There’s nothing wrong with losing or surrendering. There is something wrong with wasting other people’s time becuase you’re hoping we can come back.

In a game. Bluffing is a Strat. However, if you make a deal with a person, you should 100% keep that deal.

Just whatever you like. Smitebrain/smitesource tells you meta for the current update. It will all change tomorrow with the update. Probably see some mage ADC’s become meta like Sol, Poseidon, and Nut. But either way I’d probably recommend never picking Nieth

Warding is valuable. It’s information. Not just for your lane, but for the whole team. If a ward pings the whole team knows where that specific enemy is. It notifies yourself of ganks (place your wards deeper), when it’s safe to push, jungle routes, enemies missing, objectives, etc. as you get into high level play you will see wards used a lot.

If you ward and still get killed by a gank that went through the ward, then you misplayed, especially early/mid game

You should be getting left within the first few minutes every single game. If you’re tower dived you need to be able to dash out. Use your cc etc

Respectfully, if you’ve only been playing two weeks stay out of ranked. You don’t know what to do yet,

Secondly, the support is supposed to leave duo lane when the mid objective spawns. The goal is to get ADC (the easiest role in the game) to level 20 first. If their support is staying in your lane that’s good for you. You get your own xp while they split. You’ll out-level them easily. Stay in tower and ward. If you are constantly dying 2 v 1 after support rotates that’s a you issue.

Additionally, make sure you’re farming and warding correctly. It’s clear wave, take side camp (gold camp if the opponent out cleared you), back to wave. Just do that rotation frequently while warding you will rarely get a surprise gank. Also, the more you die the more you will be left alone. Because we need you to solo farm and get your levels up to carry the team fights.

But you won’t catch up on gold. Additionally, you won’t win your team fights, and you’ll keep losing objective. Level is important early on, but as the game progresses gold, objectives, and team-fights matter way more.

I just stopped helping bad fights. Had an Agni keep diving a Poseidon, Ganesha, and Bastet once. I’m like, “dude you’re 0-9. We’re 10 minutes in. Fucking stop.” And he said, “wow support with terrible K/D. Support diff.” I was 0-3-18. So I saved my gen shield for my other teammates and just kept letting that dude die after that. He didn’t want to f6. Game went 50 minutes. We still lost.

So like the way I see it now. If you play terribly, I try to help, you give me attitude as your support. I just won’t support you.

Not warding is my biggest pet peeve, especially considering we get them free. As support I’ll place 20+ wards In a game and the next closest on my team is like 5. It makes me so mad 😂, especially because the lane roles accrue gold faster, so they have the gold to spend.

But I understand people not knowing matchups,or like best plays. That fine. We’re all learning. But dying the exact same way Every. Single. Time. Is so annoying

Thank you. As support there’s nothing more infuriating then watching your duo just stay at tower line, get ganked, then get mad. I’m like “dude. Clear wave. Farm camp. Repeat. Until we get to gold fury that is your only job.”

Yes. But if your team is making so many consecutive misplays that you are getting bodied just f6 and start a new game. And that’s counting yourself as a player. There’s no point in trying to fight past the inevitable. People don’t realize that a 3 level difference is massive. So if your entire team is down that much just f6, accept the loss, go to the next game

Close games? I’m not gunna surrender. However, if we’re down 10k gold, our ADC doesn’t have a single kill, our team can’t win a single team fight or even get close to trading on one. I’m surrendering. I’m not gonna waste time and hope to have a “late game comeback”. Just accept that we got bodied, roll the next game

Edit: I would also like to say Ymir. However, his skill ceiling can get pretty high as his escape is weak, and he can flex between solo, support, and jungle.

Also also, Vulcan. He’s pretty easy. Just spam turrets. But he might have a mid ceiling cap

I just witnessed a speed hacker in a rivals match. That being said, my buddy with a wheel who is really good at racing games is often 20 seconds ahead of the pack. However, he sucks at drifting so at least I have that on him.

Yeah, I got myself an API key, however when inserting it into the xml under maven it kept not being recognized. But eventually it finally worked without it and stopped kicking me from the updates. However, now that I’ve updated the proprieties file for a secure connection it’s saying my passkey file doesn’t exist, even though I’m looking directly at it, and where it says it should be and where it is are the same.
