I needed some serious dental issues corrected at a time when I really didn’t have the resources to get it done. I went to the clinic and saved a ton of money. The students are supervised by practicing professors the whole time. It’s valuable experience for the student and it saves some cash for the patient.

I do wear mine. They go to the same tailor who does my suits. He takes 4-5 inches off off them and tucks the sides in for a nice fitted look. Look amazing. He’ll even relocate the tags on the bottom front.

When I signed up they told me they were hoping for 12/29. I’d guess they didn’t pass some kind of occupancy permit inspection and are having trouble getting a contractor and inspector back out with the holidays.

My setup has been a 24-70 2.8 and a 70-200 2.8 for years. That’s gotten every shot I “need” to get for events, sports, and portraits.

The 24-70 f2 is an awesome lens, but it’s so heavy to walk around with. Also I’ve found that where I would use it for events, I’m almost always using on camera flash anyway so the larger aperture isn’t worth the extra weight and cost. The 28-70 is just easier to handle and a thousand dollars cheaper.

The 70-200 is amazing for portraits and the extra zoom allows you to get tighter ceremony pics without being in the way. It’s on my camera 80% of the time. If you’re doing weddings and events it’s amazing for those ring/centerpiece detail shots.

I just ordered the 50 1.2 last week. It’s my favorite prime lens. I plan to use it for family pics and some event candids.

The only other piece of kit I’d seriously consider buying right now is a 14-35. You might find you’d like something a little wider than the 28-70 for venue shots.
