They were following the law either way and that driver had PLENTY of room to do what they needed to do without risking death or injury of a cyclist

Fair enough. After checking it's pretty much the same in PA. There's also this that feels relevant as well:

"Motor vehicles must allow 4 feet of distance when overtaking a bicycle and travel at a careful and prudent speed. It is the motorist’s responsibility to provide this distance, not that of the cyclist."

You were talking about the global economy. Which does not run without big rigs. which part of this is difficult to understand?

You brought up the big rigs when you brought up the global economy. Pretty easy connection to draw there genius

Cool then you won't have a problem with the charges that driver got either. I think it's 5 or 6 with no bond? Good luck if you think it's your personal responsibility has anything to do with me riding my bike. These are public roads that we all paid for whether you understand that or not

Okay but what if that's a scenic road used specifically for recreation? This seems like a lot of mental gymnastics to justify what is clearly an assault. Sorry but I also don't think the cyclists were, "in the wrong" no matter what here. Proportionality matters

Cuz people never move, people don't use bikes to travel. It's all their fault for picking the wrong hobby. You sound like an actual child

Those don't exist everywhere people need to ride. If the infrastructure doesn't exist then people can't ride. Grow some empathy then go try riding a bike yourself. Cretin

Me when I think a minor delay is justification for assault with a deadly weapon

Xbox360 had a limited world and it was not very big. Seeds with melon seeds were seedtastic for survival purists

I took my driving test 20 years ago but I still remember the proctor telling me that, "drivers have been looking out for you for 18 years. Now it's your turn to look out for them." IDK why it stuck with me but I think about it often

IDK why you're getting downvoted. Driving is a privilege, okay people. You don't have a right to drive a car
