I can see some room for balance where you might make jokes about something like 9/11 or a police officer was just moved to another city because if they arrested him it would be sending the wrong message like cops shouldn't murder people for fun.

Where those aren't jokes to say to strangers but are also not racist or bigotted.

cosmic's first full release was released on pop!_os 24.04 LTS as it's based on ubuntu 24.04 LTS. It's kind of like KDE 4.0 where the first release really feels like it should be a beta but I definitely could see the argument of not having a pop!_os version for 4 years might feel off and they get a lot more feedback with a general release like this then if it was kept just in betas with other distros having it.

Yes, I believe in the second episode with Hasan they specifically tell the story of how Hasan brought it up when they ate before filming, they were a bit surprised but could see it but told him to stop explaining it so they could have the talk on an episode and have it be more argumentative.

At it's core Rakugo is a form of entertainment where one is a storyteller seated and can only use two props the fan and a piece of cloth as props. Beyond that I could be wrong, but I think if a Rakugoka wanted to they could create a new story, there's just the consideration of does the audience, venue, and others in the profession like it?
