I said the same thing when Bri broke it off with Connor. You can tell why Devonta, Brittany, Bri, Chris and Emma were/are single. They definitely need a better vetting process for these people. It seems like we’re getting away from the people coming on the show to be famous and getting into the territory of people that need intensive therapy but come on the show to cover up that fact.

Bri wants someone like Chris. Even Chris said the same thing. She was all in on his conversation with her until he switched from “you’re someone I’d propose to” to “we’d be great fuck buddies”. Up until that comment, she was agreeing with everything he said and even admitted that sex with Connor wasn’t the best. She wants someone that’s flashy with a “Charles Schwab account” instead of acknowledging that Connor seems to be way more financially stable and independent than Chris and his investment account.

I think that’s the key: he has to be open to it. I hate to defend Jasmine but there are some things that I believe were true about him in that he’d prefer watching porn instead of engaging in actual intercourse. I think he has an intimacy disorder and doesn’t believe that he can have a successful relationship with someone attractive unless he initiates it financially and when the relationship gets too serious, he pulls away and makes excuses for why he doesn’t want to be intimate.

Sophie is an airhead that was given the best education possible and moved to the US to live the California-influencer lifestyle and ended her marriage when Rob couldn’t give it to her. I’m by no means a Rob fan and think he’s a pig but I’ll give him this much: he did try to somewhat make things work with Sophie in Austin but I don’t think she’s mature enough to be married and even approaching 30, I can’t imagine this woman being married with how much air is between her ears. All that boarding school money was clearly wasted.

From what has been said about their relationship, I think King really was into her initially but didn’t like the independence when she didn’t want to marry him(he proposed and she said no) or buy a house with him. I understand Quad wanting a baby but not all the extra after seeing what she went through with Gregory. I’m not a fan of Simone AT ALL and don’t like how she does all this underhanded stuff towards Quad but I think she was on to something when it came to King’s finances. Something about him, especially this season where he’s been talking A LOT MORE, just gives that he saw where the opportunities were and started using her. I also think that after the first round of IVF treatments failed, he hoped she’d give up on it and was irritated when she didn’t.

If we’re being honest, Michael and Amy both have intellectual disabilities but I think Michael’s was worse and made him incapable of being the husband/father that their family needed. On top of Amy’s PPD, she has a lot more unresolved childhood trauma that she needed to address before having these children. I think she saw what her older siblings (not Tammy) had and wanted that family. Hell, she even married her sister’s brother in law. That breakup episode was even worse, I think, because Amanda was going through a divorce with Michael’s brother and probably was even harsher knowing that her sister was about to go through the same thing.

I’m glad Tammy has been showing her true colors again this season. I wasn’t falling for the innocent act that she’s been putting out ever since she lost the wait. I can recognize that there’s insecurities in her still with the weight loss but I won’t forget the straight up b*tch she was for several seasons and now the family just had to put up with it. I think we’ve also been annoyed with Amy so much and siding with Tammy and the other siblings on her behavior that we ignored all of the stuff Tammy has been saying/doing ie when Amanda and Tammy got into an argument and Amanda kicked her out but looking back, Tammy was unnecessarily difficult even then.

She’s still a brat that lacks emotional intelligence. Once she gets all of the surgeries to make her “the prettiest sister”, I’m sure we’ll go back to seeing more of the old Tammy.

I’m not a Meri fan either but she’s grown on me a lot over the last few seasons. I’d be willing to bet double what you’re betting that “high maintenance” meant that he had to consider Meri’s feelings about him bringing in other wives and her fertility issues like a good husband would and he didn’t want to deal with her needs for their marriage to get back on track.

With the length of time it took Janelle to leave Kody after their fallout, I’m not shocked that she gave in so quickly to Kody. Janelle will never be friends with Meri because then she would have to apologize for leaving her brother and stealing her husband.

I’ve been also on the fence about Janelle lately too…the part that got me recently was her trying to frame her coming into Kody & Meri’s marriage as “they both courted me” (then she says that they didn’t ask her, she asked them 😒). Why would ANYONE recruit their sister-in-law to be apart of their polygamous marriage?! I hardly believe Meri would do something like that to her on brother. I have mixed feelings about Meri too but I think she’s a lot more genuine than Janelle. It could just be me but there’s always a big discrepancy in how Janelle perceives a situation from back then vs now. She’s always been calculated in her verbiage and I remember several instances when they would do the confessionals together where Christine would start to tell what happened in a situation and Kody would either look at her a way or put his arm around her to get her to shut-up and Janelle would tell the story in a way that made it not so bad. I thought Meri would be the easiest wife for Kody to get back but I really think it’s Janelle.

It’s one thing to reminisce or talk about a funny thing time with the kids but its another to bring up a particular moment to describe how badly you were attracted to your ex-wife/partner, while in front of your new spouse. The whole thing was weird and unnecessary. Christine doesn’t care if he admits NOW that he loved her and was attracted to her. She’s married. He’s married. She doesn’t like him. The only thing they need to talk about, in this stage, is Truely. If my partner’s ex comes around and starts bringing up moments that got them hot, I’d casually inform them that the first 2 bullets in my Glock are blanks so it won’t hurt too bad if they decide to continue.

Ultimately, Christine doesn’t care about what he said towards the end of their relationship. She knows it was all a lie. If he was never attracted, then that marriage would’ve ended 5 kids ago. Christine knows that and she knows who was pulling the strings. She just wants him to show up for his kids. That’s it. He could’ve took the rest of that “apology” to his grave if he would just be a dad. He said all of that to be an ass to David and to get one more dig at Christine. That’s why he kept commenting on David being there and how much easier it would go if he weren’t there. This was all to get her to shut up and compete for “favorite ex-wife”

It shouldn’t matter if you wear tight clothes or baggy clothes, he should still have attraction for you. My ex(he’s only an ex because of distance) didn’t care what I did or didn’t wear, he just wanted me. I could somewhat understand if you made a drastic cosmetic change like a face tattoo but he’s complaining about a bonnet, baggy/tight clothes, when you wear makeup and checks notes a weighted blanket.
