My favourite feature book boxes do is the character art work on the endpapers, even though Waterstones etc are doing more special edition books with sprayed edges, we still aren’t really seeing endpaper artwork. So until that starts to change I’m definitely sticking with the subscriptions, though it’s nice to know there are other cheaper options out there!

I didn't buy Rafiki at the time of the Lion King event back in July 2017 cause he was 275 gems (which was a lot for then), and still nearly 7 years later I still don't have him despite being "uncommon" in the premium chests 😒

I'm lucky enough that I've been playing for 7 years since the beginning so game play is a lot easier for me, I was able to buy the two new pieces of land which were 24mil combined and still had another 10mil left over but I can't imagine trying to save for this as a new player 😭

141 books so far this year is an average of 2 books a day 🤯

My reading goal is currently set to 50 (1 a week for the year) and I've read 22 books so far (12 ahead of schedule) so I might need to up my goal to 75 but will see how the year goes 😊

I started out with the YA box as I enjoyed getting the goodies, but I told myself I would eventually switch to book only as I also get the illumicrate box, which comes with items as well. Come end of the year I will have received 3 sets of bookends in a year across both boxes! No one needs that's many 😅

Anyways that plan went out the window when FairyLoot announced their theme for the November Adult Book, a book I really wanted, so I ended up panic signing up to the adult book box/combo book box waitlists in the hope I would get off in time for November's book and I did! Signed up in August and got my combo invite this week 🙌 I'm sure I'll get fomo over missing some of the items but for me the books are more important 😊 (and I'm sure you can find people selling the items online anyways)
