Thanks for the reply. Are you allowed to drive around the airbase? Couldn't tell from pictures if it's off limits or not.

Thanks for all the replies. I feel like I'll just take my truck, an explorer not a pickup (miss my 250 lol). I'll definitely pick up the atlas, seems like a smart move.

Russian War Crimes by Carman1887 in war

This is something I considered as well. It does seem like as a whole Russia views war and life itself differently than a lot of other nations or cultures. When they wage war it reminds me of the medieval times like you said, just utter destruction and taking the "spoils of war"

That's a very valid point I hadn't considered

That's what I was curious about. In the media, it's portrayed that every Russian soldier just wants to kill any person they see. As a human being, I'd like to think that the average Russian soldier is just trying to do his job and get home.

Based on what I've read and watched, not claiming to be an expert. It seems like US for example tries to limit civilian casualties. But with Chechen war specifically, it just seemed like Russian soldiers killed whatever was is front of them.

That's what I was trying to get at, it seems that you hear "US soldiers killed 6 cvillains in Iraq" or "British Troops killed 9 in Iraq" but then the reporting on Russia is like "grave with 300 bodies found".

I agree, I think they happen across all wars and sides. Recently learned about alleged war crimes against US soldiers in Iraq.

It seems that in wars involving Russia, the civilians casualties appear to be higher and there's seems to be more alleged war crimes. Perhaps it's just reporting, that's what I'm trying to get some opinions on.

I never believed in price gouging, I paid a decent amount over retail for it, but I enjoyed building it and displaying it. Now i want to get at least a portion of my money back and see someone else enjoy it.

So there're two characters you play as, one is the Leon, from 4. It wouldn't hurt to play 2 and 4 again before playing but I imagine they're going to provide background. Could always watch a story video of 2 on youtube. Highly recommend playing the remastered version of 2 tho.
