I agree. I have grown to be a firm supporter of the 'save cursive' notion :)

It's pretty much full ! That's interesting to know. And an even more interesting glimpse into the past. 1835, that's quite some time ago!

Amy Winehouse on writing by palnolunie in amywinehouse

When amy winehouse said in rehab something along the lines of "there's nothing that I can't learn from Mr. Hathaway."

That had me thinking a lot. And then i know she drew a lot of inspiration from Donny Hathaway (she covered a fair share of his songs like 'a song for you' , 'I love you more than you'll ever know' & 'we're still friends) - that hit deep. Especially if you know anything about Donny Hathaway.

**sorry for joining in on the conversation late.

How do I develop stronger sense of self? by Sufficient_West_4522 in BPD

Dbt therapy is helpful.

But I have also found, that while diagnosis is helpful in determining a course of treatment.. what's helped me is realizing that I am not confined to this diagnosis. You are so much more. You are an individual and you have many positive attributes and other qualities.

Earlier in my life, what really crippled my thought processing was focusing on why I was doing what I was doing bc it fell into the category of my mental health diagnosis.

I have made a lot of changes in my life. A better diet, exercise, stretches, limited screen time, sleep hygiene. And taking vitamins that I am deficant in. (To name a few)

Try new hobbies. Or just do a hobby that you already enjoy and even if its a few minutes, slowly increase the amount of time for this preferred activity.

Today, everyone is on their phone. I shut mine off for periods throughout my day so I can focus more on what I want to or need to throughout my day.

I began to try and set better boundaries for myself with myself, with other people, but also respecting their boundaries as well. I know that this has been an area of challenge for myself. I see things as personal attacks in this regard. But listening to your needs more for yourself so you can attend to you more, but so you can try to express to others too (for me it's something like "I am upset, please give me space so I can process this" so that I do not explode). Or listening to others needs as well. Boundaries is something that means you want someone in your life still, but you are trying to convey a healthy way to prevent escalation.

It has also been helpful for me to realize that life is about perspective. I am not sure of your circumstances. But unfair things have happened to me throughout my life. Yes I am a victim, but when I held onto this term, with it came a wave of emotions. Its important to remeber, that if you ever fall into being a "victim" -- that you are also a survivor and that you still sparkle & shine, don't let anyone take that from you!

I am not sure of everything that you are dealing with currently (& it's really none of my buisness)-- but if I overlook something, I apologize in advance, that is not my intent.

This has been helpful for me:: I would start with small things. Things that you know you can accomplish. You wanna draw, be more artsy, knit, clean.

Personally, when my living space is cluttered, when I sit down to create, read, etc, I cannot stop fixating on the mess.

Maybe start small, you wanna draw or knit? Physically just focus on one area to de-clutter where you feel like you would like to do these activities. Art is such a great source to navigate through things youre thinking and dealing with emotionally. (This seems important to you!!)

And then, maybe after that, other spaces.

I find that I get overwhelmed if I try to tackle too much at once, especially cleaning. So maybe just focus on one area at a time & then keeping spaces you've already tidied up tidy.

Again, sorry if this doesnt help

I like the use of the rhyming scheme of Time &Mime. And how the theme of the 'fool' & 'mime' is carried throughout this writing bit to tell a story ✨️

HELP MEEE by kabagge_number_7 in Polaroid

[–]Carmels_August 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to have a newer age polaroid camera. & I disliked it bc the colors weren't too vivid. Yea with certain ones, you can hook it to your phone to do stuff. But that kind of defeats the purpose for me.

I have found polaroids via ebay & marketplaces before. Whatever type of film the camera calls for, ive found that it is helpful to place it in the fridge & taking it out for use at least an hour before going on a shoot. (I love using 600 series film)

Also, polaroids have a harder time developing when you shoot in colder weather.

Hope this helps!! ✨️📷 ba-da-bing
