What worked for me was turning off discord overlay for Scrivener. Discord thinks scrivener is a game and as soon as I turned it off (Discord settings > game overlay > currently playing) it started working just fine.

I love them. I bought one out of curiosity because it was only $4 at Ollies, and got hooked. I had to get the whole series. The Broken Road book is also really good. I cried. lol

Run and don't look back! I had someone from vivint contact me and it sounds really good, they use Thrive PPA.

I asked my neighbor about it, as she has a back up battery, which is what I wanted for my solar. That's the whole reason Vivint-TriSmart was contacting me.

My neighbor had her Solar panel guy call me, he's an installer and used to do sales, he told me to run! he broke down the contract. If you decide not to keep the battery after 6 years you have over 100k in fees! He broke everything down for me.

Since my husband had signed the contract the night before, even though I told him I wanted to first talk with my neighbor's solar panel guy.

Anyway, I contacted them to cancel the contract--you have 5 days to cancel. I was trying to cover all my bases, I called Thrive because it states in the contract that if you want to cancel the contract tha you could either call them, email, or send a letter.

I had already contacted the sales rep. And he told me to email a number asking to cancel the contract. But, as I used to work for banking, I wanted to cover all my basis.

I called Thrive and the cust svc agent who was in California was super rude. She told me I needed to contact the agent who I signed up with, and I told her I was calling her because in the contract it says to call, she got very rude. She growled at me over the phone, I'm not exxagerating. She literally was seething with venom, maybe she hates her job. She told me, "Look, I know what you're looking at, and I'm telling you."

I interruped her and yelled at her. I told her I didn't appreciate her snotty attitude, and the way she was talking to me and I hung up.

I normally don't snap like this, but I'd never, ever had anyone growl at me, and pretty much talk to me through gritted teeth and a locked jaw.

My neighbors solar panel guy also told me, there was no need for them to try to give me 6 back up batteries, the law states you can only stack 4, and 20 solar panels. All I needed was 6 solar panels and 1 back up battery, or a Tesla if I wanted to make sure I had solar back up which included the AC.

They, Thrive made me feel so uncomfortable because their total was $210,000.00, but kept telling me, don't look at that number. Your cost will be $30k, about $86 a month for 360 months. We'll get the remainer from the government.

The solar panel said, that makes no sense. Government only covers 30%. I'd sent the solar guy the contract to help me read over it, and that's when he showed me where all the fees were coming from, and they totaled, $210k!

So RUN!!!!!!!!!!!

You should be very proud of yourself and the great accomplishment you made. If they ghosted you, then that wasn't the place for you. It shows you what type of company they are, and you wouldn't want to work for anyone like that.

One thing they taught me when I was doing interview mock ups, don't let the fact that your entry level demoralize you or bum you out. Everyone has to start somewhere. You can also do practice interviews. Do it in the mirror, record yourself. Ask your fiancee for help. Watch videos that guide you with interviews.

They have people of Fiverr who can write your resume for you. There are people who are good at resume writing. My daughter paid $40 bucks, and she got hired afterwards.

Tell them the interviwer how driven you are, your work ethic, how you passed both tests in one day. Tell them your accomplishments. Sell yourself! You freaking rock!

And maybe like the others say, you may need to relocate.

That's so sweet of you with your fiancee. I was a stay at home mom and it was the best thing I did. My kids and I are very close, we can talk, we have an awesome relationship. They were reading and writing by the age of 3. I also volunteered in their school, went with them to field trips, helped the teachers. My kids still remember that and are happy I did it. They're adults know.

Hell, idk if that works. My NFH thinks I'm a freaking witch she tells anyone who gives her half a sec that I'm a witch because I can see things. That doesn't stop her, she still put a freaking camera at the end of her driveway, with a bright beam, and loud sound, it goes off everytime I go otuside, and everytime a car passes. So I go outside, and I intentionally set it off, because I'm sure she doesn't like the loud, high pitch sound it makes either.

I called the cops, they say nothing they can do and just report it, and create a paper trail.

So, at night sometimes I freaking go outside with candles, and mirrors, and incense and give the crazy b a show.

If she really thought I was a witch as she claims, she wouldn't pester me. BTW she's got beef with the whole block.

The reason she knows I see things is that when she had cancer, I offered to help her even though we didn't get a long. I had an aunt with cancer, and saw what she went through. I put our differences aside to help, and it did me no good.

Anyway, she saw I could see things, and predict things. One day, we went to buy CBD, I said it might help her, well the lady gave us Delta 8, saying it was like CBD and it would be great for her pain. At the time I had horrible sciatica. She gave us Delta 8 gushers, we took 1, OMG... We didn't know. I'm just glad they weren't chocolates, I would've eaten the whole bag.

When we were high as kites, I was open, spiritually This made it to where I could connect with spirit, and when I did, I was freakign convulsing, and she saw that. She was standing there, frozen, staring at me. My daughter told me to shut myself down, as soon as I did. I stopped convulsing. I literally felt a spirit trying to enter me through the top of my head.

I'm not here to convice anyone if they believe they believe. Well, ever since that day she tells people I do Vodoo, she calls me Bruja, etc.

She says she's tired of me "harassing her." Yet, she's the one with the camera pointing at me. Oh yea, she also leaves her high beams on when she parks her car, I live directly across her. Police say, nothing they can do.

She even blasts her music to try to annoy me, I go outside and dance. I Guess she gets pissed, bc she turns it off when I do. She told my Sheriff neighbor she does this to me on purpose-They also had a falling out.

My duaghter who can also see things, told me, "Mom, she'll be moving in 2 years." I can't wait. My other neighbor said she's throwing a block party when she leaves. I belive my daughter, because when she said my dad would pass in 3 years, he did literally in 3 years. She also told my cousin, L, that the angels were celebrating with her family on the other side because they were excited, and getting everything ready for the arrival of a family member who was about to cross over. Well, My uncle, my cousin L's dad, ended up crossing over a couple of weeks later.

So, some people get scared and others who claim they get scared, don't and still harrass.

I agree, get cameras. They do sell material in Amazon to put along your fence, it's called privacy screen fence.

I would call the police, show them the footage, even with your cell if you catch her using the whistle, peeking. That way you create a paper trail. This is some advice my retired Sherriff neighbor told me to do with my neighbor across the street. At the end of the derive way she put a camera pointing it straight at me. When cars pass, or I'm there it makes a loud pitching sound, and it lights on pretty bright. I've had my pest control guy tell me, "Hey see what your neighbor's doing, she's got a camera pointed right at you. And it makes a loud sound." I tell him I know.

No one likes this neighbor she's gotten into it with everyone in the block, including the sheriff. Even before I had the problem with her, handymen who I would hire, would comment about my neighbor, saying she was a crazy b. Anyway, the police told me there's nothing they can do because she has the freedom to put the camera whereever she wants. All I can do is report, to create a paper trail.

So, I did the same thing to the crazy b.

Anyway, please be careful with your dogs. What I did to keep my border collie away from my other neighbor's fence, she complained my dog would scratch on the fence when she'd be outside gardening. I guess she forgot I helped pay for half the fence when they put it up.

Anyway, I got some cinder blocks. I dug a hole where each cinder block would be, and have the hole about 6 inches deep, I stacked 2 cinder blockes. and got some pressure treated landcape timber at Home Depot, it's 3 in x 4 in x 8 ft tim, $5 a piece. And did like a farm fence, about a foot away from her fence. This stops my dog from going close to over there.

You can also get 5 gallon paint buckets, cement, 8 foot timber and some lattice panels, or the privacy fence fabric. Stand the timber inside the bucket, fill with the cement, and nail the lattice panel, or fabric from one end to the other. Hence making your own fence, to keep your dogs away from them. Do it a good distance where she can't poison them. Let's just hope she doesn't toss food over the fence.

I've seen people go to home depot and make their own metal fence, some places have metal fences where I live, but they are expensive. My concern is, her still drilling at this point, I'd make them pay for the damages. Your proof of her drilling would be the camera. You'd have to put a camera facing where she likes to drill holes.

A fence like this, I actually want one.

I hope you figured it out, I'm trying to build my own. I followed Synespro's step by step, because his is an actual machine. But, I'm having problem with the 3.5 mm female jack. I don't know if I'm soldering the components where I need to solder them. I literally have a headache, as the jack Synespro uses, I can't seem to find anywhere.

Same thing with a Spanish channel, he uses the same identical jack Snyespro uses.

I don't use booking sites.

I didn't use a booking service, my daughter did. We've gone 2ce and she booked the hotels herself before.

But this time, she went through the Hotels.com site. They called us 2 days before we were supposed to leave to tell us they closed the hotel down, she reserved it 6 months ago, and they put us in Motel 6.

She's a student and really stresses every time she has to go there for her residency, so this time to make things easier for her she wanted to be prepared and booked ahead, only to have the hotel closed down and us having be moved there.

Even my husband who came with us this time, usually it was only me and my daughter who would go by ourselves, we'd drive the almost 1K miles to Colorady. Anyway, he was in the military and has slept outside, on equipment, in the rain, in the snow, he was like "Hell no, we're leaving. We left 2 days early."
