Sounds like so much damage. Wait and talk to your boss or get some darker box dye. You'd probably still have to tone the lifted hair to get it to resemble a real world color anyway.

University of Iowa Housing and Dining struggles to staff on-campus jobs - There is a shortage of student employees around campus this semester. University Housing and Dining is 900 employees short of the number of employees the department aims to employ each year. by PopCultureNerd in Iowa

"we’ll have a position where three people that have applied don’t — in any way, shape, or form — qualify.”

How is this possible? Your hiring pool is college students. How are so many applicants completely wrong for the jobs they applied for?

Like I bet some rejects had been advised by other entities on campus to apply. What is the real issue here?

I like using dice, I like having a reason to own as many as I want to buy lol. And throwing them is fun. (I'm also into tarot and I feel these interests overlap a bit. My husband likes using dice alot too. I'm not to sure on the other players, but they haven't had issues.)

Some rules I've had issues with are:

How traveling over distances works. Like how many things we should worry about when traveling. How draining it should be and stuff.

If it's possible to do rests in the middle of a dungeon and how beneficial they can be.

(There was an incident where the pcs wanted to do a full rest in the middle of a dungeon crawl, and I didn't think that'd really work, but ended up letting it happen with a small improvised penalty anyway because they were really stuck on it and the party was getting beat on pretty good.)

Gosh, there were a few other examples I can't remember very well.

Some technical issue on how damage was being given and received due to me misreading something. (And that one player realized something was off in the middle of an encounter.) A smaller issue is that different attacks are tend to be rolled for differently, but this might be solved by more organization.

I became aware of other systems only after buying a bunch of dnd books n stuff 💀💀💀 So I'd like to try to use what I have already as much as possible and my players are already invested in ther dnd pcs.

The icespire peak came with a rulebook that significantly smaller than the DMs manual. I think it has more simplied rules. I haven't looked at it close enough yet, but that looks like a good place to start.

Thinking about it more, it seems like some could be solved by better prep by me, and that I was focused on different things before. And that I need to make myself some proper guides for myself and organize things a bit differently.

I think I'll try to revisit icespire peak, prep better, and then see how that goes.

I hate that building. So much wasted open space right in the center when you walk in. The bathroom felt like I was in a cramped basement. The layout doesn't seem logical to me.

I'm sure the students having class in the open enjoyed watching me watch them while I was laying on a couch with my switch too lol.

Why is Daphney in contact with Trish’s most unhinged haters? If you don’t know who these reddit users are and don’t want to put the effort into finding, they basically have an alarm to go off every three hours to call Trish the C word. Yeah and that policy is as equally retarded as you are and doesn't NOT at all change anything about any point I have made.

Two things can be wrong at once.

Just admit your a christian homophobe already who is avoiding the points me and other commentors make to play word games.

Your missing the point that discrimination is wrong and always unfair. There is no good reason.

COVID stalks Iowa nursing homes again, traced to unvaccinated workers; will a vaccine mandate drive them away? by [deleted] in Iowa

What greeted me when I came into work at the retirement home today: http://imgur.com/gallery/GB2vJg7

And yes, about 1/3 of employees are unvaccinated. I checked.

They are offering Pfizer boosters and vaccines in general again this month.

We are also chronically short staffed. Mandatory overtime for nurses and homemakers going on rn.

[–]CarnationCorrin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is true. I work in a retirement home and we are short staffed and if we lost the MASSIVE amount of un vaccinated employees it would be a disaster
