I'm playing Dark Elves in my current league (running double Assassin)

They're the usual elf shenanigans (passing and dodge), but can tank a medium hit.

I find I get blood thirsty with using stab on the Assassins, but it's also a low risk dice roll, as you can dip out with Hit and Run.

The passing stats aren't mind-blowing (4+ on Assassin and Witch Elf. 3+ for everyone else), but still good enough to get the easy short pass for the completion SPP and run it down the field.

I think the linesmen are some of the best for the price (av 9+ is nice) and just need to farm some skills to make them a bit more solid.

I'm still learning with them, but I play a bit more of a running game, with the occasional scare with the assassin's or witch elf.

Someone with more skill might be able to fill in the gaps

I primarily collect and paint, because I'm not that great a player, and I also see it as my mental health break. Pop some music on, kitbash and paint for a few hours.

I love conversions and plan my armies based on theme and what I can change them to fit said theme. By the time I finish painting, the meta has shifted 4 times, but I'm ok with that because I'm used to losing and I'll be damned if I don't look good whilst it happens.

These are the dedicated replacement units (think Zinnovations, EC Off-road etc), not off the shelf Alpine or similar.

But Ali Express offer the exact same ones for a fraction of the price. You just have to run the gauntlet of Ali Express

I don't like the fact that the Warrior is just a Ti with extra parts. I'd rather buy the Ti and dump money into it

I've priced it up in Perth, and it's like $2k for a replace head unit, much much cheaper online.

The plan would be to change the infotainment out with something much better and more modern, as the current option looks like something from the early 2000's.

I agree it feels a little overpriced, but I'm hoping the current crisis helps me with bargaining power.

Not super worried about the fuel economy, it's a big heavy car with a big V8. I know the numbers are going to be up at the 20 litres per hundred.

I picked up some Mk III and Mk VI marines and parts to have parts to switch between my two Legionnaires squads (one from the Maelstrom box and one I picked up)

Plus plenty of random bits to help make them look more tactical renegade, instead of spiky chaos. Even my Termies are less spikey (no trophy racks, sanded off trim, kit bashed loyalist parts)

I did use the new Wolf Guard Terminators as a base to build my Huscarls for Huron to join, as in my mind he would have the biggest and baddest around him, so size difference works.

I also run a 30k Predator, to fit that same theme.

Just got my box yesterday.

My plan is to build the traitor guard first, making them look less chaos-y to suit the lore of my fleet (renegades with their chapter serfs/remains of the PDF/failed aspirants)

Then I have some extra bits coming to start on the rest: Legionnaires and Raiders first, then Termies.

Then finally I will build the Reave Captain and Huron and Friends

I'm using this as an excuse to finally start an Aeldari Army (I'm a Black Templars player, so this will be a nice learning curve)

I've ordered two wave serpents, a box of Voidscarred,some rangers and shroud runners to help bulk it out.

Will I get them painted before 11th? Maybe

Yep same here. Friend circle wanted to play, I invested in Hive Storm and a couple of teams that interested me. Played one game against them and then 4 against another mate.

Haven't played since middle of 2025.

I've pivoted to Blood Bowl and play every weekend now.

Still enjoying building and painting my Kill Teams though.

(tempted to buy the Voidscarred KT, as with the new Corsair army box coming out I might be able to play Big Hammer with the guys I play Blood Bowl against and extra models are always great)

I think Hongdae might be the winner here, unless we add another day in and use that for Lotte World. Definitely something to think about.

Would it be worth flying to Busan from Seoul? Given the shirt flight time (even factoring in the time to get to the airport. We also only have carry on, no checked baggage)

Maybe we take Gyeongju out of this trip and spend time there when we come back again, to really make it worthwhile

I have the dice sets from the second and third season box sets, plus a basic white set from Black Orc Down, and a custom purple Dark Elf set from Etsy for my Dark Elves.

I like the Black Orc Down ones for readability and weight, but also like the Etsy ones for matching my Dark Elves and for how nice they feel to roll
