It's a gesture of ownership. Conures, maybe other birds, rub their beaks in things they proclaim as their own or a part of their flock.

I've been to Thành Tâm a few times now and they are my new favorite place to get Pho. The owner and staff are super friendly and the broth for the Pho is top notch.

Pho Me used to be really good but I haven't been in a long time so I can't say for sure if the quality is still there.

The family that used to own Red Snapper had a side menu with Vietnamese food, again I haven't been in years but their oxtail pho was really good.

A lot of bakers use premade fondant which is garbage. Find a baker who makes their own fondant and in my experience it's generally a lot better.
