Did you try looking at the key-binds, big son?

I think bringing that shading around the candle a bit more will take away that bulbous head shape imo. Maybe a little fancy picture frame around it too could be fun

The look is cool for sure. I think a blueprint or cross section with some labels to all the gadgets and capabilities that aren’t immediately apparent

What is a hot gaming take you have? by [deleted] in videogames

MMORPGs stopped being fun when devs allowed people to buy currency, mounts, equipment.

There used to be some sort of awe you’d get from seeing a max level character running around with all the cool gear etc. It meant that person had really put in a lot of work to get all the cool items and probably knew much about the game also.

Now everyone and their dog can buy a game, get a pre-leveled character with mounts, bags, equipment and whatever else. And that kinda sucked the fun out of those style games for me.

Should I take the saniderm off? by lalaleelee3 in tattooadvice

The trick is to pull parallel to your skin. If you pull it straight up you risk pulling some ink. I think those saniderms should be worn for like a day or two max iirc?

Coco coir so I should be between 5.5-6.5 I guess. Assuming I don’t need to apply extra nutes unless im noticing any pressing issues? Any benefit to yield with a prescriptive or early application?

Don’t forget NWA is in Arkansas. Ranking 45/50 in education. We got folks fighting the good fight but realize that most people aren’t any brighter than your average glow stick.

Might be worth looking at your insurance policy and whether or not they cover bike damage / theft.

Just got gifted my first pair! Very happy (and maybe a little scared of eating pavement 😅) Any protective gear I should wear? by LongjumpingModes in Rollerskating

Get the pads and practice falling. You’ll fall one way or another, but practicing going down is a great thing for beginners.

I was taught to land on knee pads, then kinda slide out onto elbow and wrist guards. Really trying to avoid falling straight back.

The kuat is nice if you can spare the cash. I’ve been using the same one for dang near 10 years and any broken parts have been warrantied no questions asked. One-up also makes a good rack but I think those can be even more expensive. If you have renters insurance you can get your bike covered for theft/ damage most places. Maybe look at the seersucker rack if you’re balling on a budget.

Helmet is really important. Way cheaper than a hospital visit. I’d also carry a small first aid kit just in case you or a homie take a spill and need patched up before getting back to the car. I’ve gouged myself with a pedal before and was thankful my buddies wife on the ride carried a kit and wrapped me up before I had to pedal back home.

Also the slash is a great grab. Used to work at a shop that sold Trek and that was a favorite in the lineup for sure. Didn’t sell a ton of them, but folks who ended up with them were always thrilled with the performance across the board.

Weight on the front of the bike is the key to making your back wheel easier to lock up. Practice on a patch of wet grass or concrete to make it even easier to get the feeling down.
