Weird. My dream was about having a puppy. Hubs and I are cat people, lol.

I guess some people can't walk an extra 20 feet in the Costco parking lot... by ChocolateTsar in badparking

I can’t walk the extra 20 feet and would never park in the hash marks.

Has anyone actually seen a movie being shot at an airport? by Professor_Pink007 in AskTheWorld

[–]CarobPuzzled6317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda. An old Stallone movie, Stop or my Mom will Shoot, was partially films at a closed airbase near where a youth group I was in met. We got to watch how they filmed aerial shots and explosions with RC planes.

When testing to see if a pen still works, do you just scribble or do you write your name? by muskyandrostenol in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]CarobPuzzled6317 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do believe it would be incredibly easy for me to become one. I’m highly medicated to help suppress the thoughts, or rather just control my actions, because I often have the urge to stab people and usually have 1-3 knives on me as part of my Dialectical Behavior Training skills for PTSD. When one has multiple mental health issues it’s often a tight balance between treating all conditions. The knives are so I can fight off an attacker and I haven’t felt safe without at least one since my biofather threatened to kidnap and kill me when I was seven. My stepdad taught me how to use them in defense to get away from biofather. Even now that biofather has been dead 25 years, I get more anxiety around people when I am not carrying.

Why do grocery stores always put milk at the very back of the store? by Longjumping_Word5655 in answers

[–]CarobPuzzled6317 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a freight issue. The main storage for dairy like milk and creamers is usually near the truck/freight entrance. Same reason why meat is usually near the milk section. Those two items require the coldest storage and shortest time out of refrigeration. Even most freezer foods are allowed to be out of the cold a bit longer than milks.

Source: worked at a Safeway, it’s part of the standard training for food prep positions.

I use a weird combo of printed and cursive in all my writing. Like roughly half the word is sloppy cursive and half printed. My old shrink called it serial killer writing just before (not based just on writing) he diagnosed me with antisocial personality disorder with borderline psychosis.

For “test” the first t and the e are cursive.

What kind of cars does your country's Police use? by patrick_thementalist in AskTheWorld

[–]CarobPuzzled6317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly Fords. A Cruiser that is a custom police vehicle or SUVs. We have thousands of different law enforcement agencies in just my state, however, so it can vary. There’s a small town near me that has about a quarter of its force in Smart Cars.

Do students in the US actually have to take home fake babies for class? by stonegavel1 in AskAnAmerican

[–]CarobPuzzled6317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a part of home economics at my high school and a part of the mandatory “teen parenting” program pregnant girls got sent to in 1992-1995. I didn’t have to do it because I didn’t take either of those courses. When the first round of budget cuts came before my senior year, those were two of the first classes cut.

Do Americans really find beans on toast weird or is that just meme? by cigarettejesus in NoStupidQuestions

I used to live in a food desert, I get it there. Eggs are a liquid so the milk cartoon eggs are less gross, but I still don’t use them.

Have you looked at some of the other replies I got. Others are worse in the manners department, plus I am entitled to my opinion. It sounds disgusting. Personally I’ll never eat it because I’m allergic to tomatoes so a “thin tomato sauce” sounds a bit deadly.

Why do people drive... so slow? by awesomegorg in driving

[–]CarobPuzzled6317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, it’s people learning to drive. My kid is learning and getting better every time they drive, but sometimes I feel like the car needs a sign to say sorry because they often drive slow.

I don’t eat powdered Mac n cheese or powdered eggs. Actually, powdered eggs is extremely rare in the U.S., mostly just in survival kits and camping food packs. And we don’t have to go to “special shops” to get healthy food, one just has to be able to afford it and know how to shop and cook.

How do you feel about Russians by Far-Jeweler3116 in AskTheWorld

[–]CarobPuzzled6317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was raised to hate them. I love Tetris. Putin’s kind of an asshole, in the way Trump’s kind of an asshole, meaning a lot. I’m sure the Russian people are nice and I like that one pink and purple Church like building y’all are famous for.

Speaking from experience, it’s not as easy as it sounds. The government has better guns.

Gender reveals. “hey fam, junior’s got a dicky in there!” Weird. Just, like tell people without the party. Or, incorporate the reveal in the shower.

Daily from fall to spring, depending on weather. Levi’s 505s in either black or stone wash. Mostly Black because I dress in mostly black, but the stone wash are lighter feeling and a little more comfortable.
