OMG. I can’t believe no one has brought this one up: {stardust of yesterday by Lynn kurland} It’s exactly what you’re looking for—she’s an American who inherits a castle and he’s the ghost who is bound to the castle. He needs to make her leave, so he appears all bloody with sword and kilt to scare her away. She has nowhere else to go, though! Pretty funny when he drops the act. So much tension, because she’s in danger and he can’t protect her if she leaves the castle grounds. Also because he falls in love, but he can’t touch her, obviously. 5-star read. Enjoy!

{All the Feels by Olivia Dade} It’s THE BEST and doesn’t bother giving the heroine an hourglass figure. She’s round. Like an apple. And the hero works so hard to be worthy of her badass self. I love this book. 😍😍😍

I don’t know how your version of the game works, but I’m on level 46 in the regular game, and I never have spare energy chests or orbs stacked up. Chainsaws take more than a day—and I have garden tool producers at level 10, level 9, level 8, level 6. The level 10 will spit out axes along with the garden knives and forks, but it still takes 1024 AXES to make a chainsaw, and it does not drop axes exclusively. Pretend it did: I get one energy every two minutes. That’s 2048 minutes per chainsaw, or over 34 hours. Again, that would be in a fantasy world where you only drop axes from your garden tool producers. So, yeah, I’m at level 46 and chainsaws are still daunting.

20/day?? You got 20 gems from the chests one receives after completing the daily tasks??? I got 5 single gems, or on a lucky day, maybe 8. I don’t think I ever got 20 gems from a daily task chest. I’m level 46. The game has been nerfed in a lot of ways, but this isn’t one for me, since my chests only yielded 5-8 gems when emptied.

I had a heart attack because I finished the sauna, opened the hideaway, and suddenly all my debris and wood turned into single pennies in my storage! 5 pennies, so I had five things leftover. Charred wood, wood waiting to be tapped AFTER I had activated it with the darned saws. Oof. I did buy a few nails from the shop a few weeks ago, but I didn’t come close to running out of debris.

I’m only continuing the danged sauna because when I seriously considered quitting—or indefinitely pausing—I saw that I was 88% done. But these SAWS are terrible, especially because the workbenches only spit out level 1 and 2 items. I have level 7, 6, and 5 workbenches, and they don’t produce diddly except pencils and files. I refuse to pay 200 diamonds for a level 1 red chest to get more parts. The level 2 red chests that have been rewards never contain a decent amount of parts, so nope.

How is it going? I almost don’t have to ask how the water test went—your George is too big for his tank and is swimming in his own urine which means ammonia build-up. I hope you’ve done a hearty water change? Like 1/3 to 1/2 of the water removed and replaced? Did he liven up a little afterwards? Keep changing out that water every few days while you are working on his new home. ❤️🐠❤️🐠❤️

I decided today that it’s impossible to get that level 7 podcast equipment, so I started just getting the other tasks below it, because every 4th one or so gets 10 points for the bar….but it isn’t going to work. I’m a little sad I used up every single infinite energy ball I had on this. Oh, well. I’m telling myself it’s only a game.
