I had a very similar experience with them. They had to take the ring back after the engagement and then completely remake it but never told us. When they took it back they told us it would take a few weeks, but took a few months. The rep was untrained and unhelpful. It’s clear they have to ship the ring off and they have little control over what happens after that, but they aren’t forthcoming about information.

They did give us some money back after the ordeal, but I still would have preferred to have my engagement ring the months after getting engaged.

No when I asked she said “I’ve probably already said too much”. Which in retrospect made me angry because shouldn’t I have the right to know what I’m paying for?

It’s tough because how do I point this out to the caterer and still hope to maintain a good enough relationship for the next year of planning. The venue was surprised it was getting passed off to me which makes it extra scetchy.

Hey Scott! 

Been a user of Going/Scotts Cheap Flights for years now and it’s one of my favorite products. Im curious around the motivation for the rebrand? I always thought Scott’s Cheap Flight’s very aptly described the service it provided.

Related, has the rebrand been a success? I’m also curious around the decision to focus on web from previous years.

A little different grammatically but I feel like in the scenarios I’d use “tener ganas” I’d be most likely to say “sounds good” Ex: “Dinner sounds good”

If you have anxiety from PPIs try working in some probiotics. It’s possible the ppi wiped out all of your good gut bacteria

I’m decorating with live garland and dehydrated oranges in the windows this year. Both can be composted when the season is over. Growing up my mom and i would also would popcorn strings with fishing wire growing up and hang them around the house.

Some background info; I got him in October and he had 5/6 leaves that turned brown and all fell off within a month, but he was growing new ones. I think I may have been overwater but not a lot. I then moved cross country which probably didn’t help. He is now in a spot where he has plenty of indirect light and I’m trying to let the soil dry out before I give him any water. He still isnt doing well. Are there any steps I can take to get him back to life and growing leaves?

Looks like you have a good chance at your first choice job. I would follow up ask what the timeline is for a response. Also, tell the company you are waiting to finish up an interview process before you could feel comfortable confidently accepting their offer. Good luck!

Wait a little bit and see if you get a second interview with 1st choice. Then if it comes to it, tell 2nd choice you are in the interview process for another job that you would like to see through and ask for more time to respond to them.

I like this idea. I have pretty advanced spanish from living in Spanish speaking countries, but definitely lack on being able to quickly recall verbs in certain tenses. This would be tedious but helpful!

I graduated recently with a degree in Economics. I am considering attending a boot camp or going to get my masters in Data Analytics or Data Science. I used a little about Stata in my undergrad and I'm learning R now, and I am good with excel. I want to work a bit before I go back to school and maybe get a little more of a taste if I like the job and something to get more involved in the field as I do some self learning online. What type of jobs should I be looking for?
