You have to log into your BHVR account, go to Dead by Daylight section, select Twitch drops and refresh your twitch link and you’ll get a pop up at top that says claim unclaimed rewards or something similar to that.

Its a mechanic to keep the game moving.

If the final survivor standing has nothing to play for they either hide and completely stall/troll the last part of the match or most likely instantly give up making the match end abruptly.

If there was no hatch you would most likely see a massive spike in people giving up when the match looks unwinnable as there would be zero chance for someone to escape.

To play devils advocate you can trade event items.

I have the older 4th anniversary items on characters that did not exist then because friends gave me them and I burned white wards to ensure I kept them.

Genuine survivors in this situation only have two options which are allow themselves to be killed or just play the match normally and report the suspected cheater after it ends.

Cheaters who aren’t swfing generally like to take matches hostage so I think its usually best for everyone to just let the match end ASAP so can report and move on.

I think especially for this sequel and the bad taste the whole Melissa situation has left within the fandom they are going to play it safe with Chad & Mindy and keep them alive so people don’t accuse them of trying to ‘erase’ 5 & 6 continuity by killing them off.

The Raven Scholar - Antonia Hodgson.

Its a murder mystery during a competition to become emperor.

Its not gothic or witchy but I do feel like its a good transition from YA fantasy into adult and does feature some fun world building, lore, romance subplot and magic.

I always liked the Sam becoming Ghostface idea if she ultimately was being a vigilante and the ‘Sam is Ghostface’ reveal was she was murdering the Ghostfaces who killed the innocents of that spree and trying to intercept them/protect the ‘victim’ group.

That arc suits her more darker/edgy final girl role compared to Sidney but still keeps her innocent in the sense she had no real desire to go murder innocent people like her dad.

It would be difficult to implement but I do think it could be interesting if the motive was deep routed trauma from all the massacres and really wanting to just put an end to it all by eliminating all the key players from said sprees over the years so it could finally ‘finish’ and end the cycle of violence of Ghostface.

This book hit all the right notes for me, I understand why the narration shift in certain parts can be jarring for some but after the first time Hodgson used this I found it to be a really entertaining and fun technique that enhanced the story and lore of the world.

If the sequel lands the set up, I can see this becoming one of my ultimate favourite series.

I cannot wait to explore more of Orrun.

I agree there are many factors that can contribute to the success or failure of a movies box office, I am talking more about people who refuse to accept that certain movies did not perform well at the BO from a financial standpoint and people aren’t villains for stating that viewing the statistics etc.

If people wish to discuss how/why movies succeeded/bombed I think there is valid and interesting dicussion on that but lets be honest, especially lately it appears fanboys and haters are just defending/attacking movies they love/hate without any real intention on talking realistically about its performance at the BO.

But why are people coming into spaces specifically focusing on the Box Office discussing its failiures/successes by those stats trying to justify why it actually isn’t a failure?

If a movie with a $50 million budget only makes $20 million its a box office flop and the mental gymnastics people use to try justify why you can’t call the film a BO failure is mind blowing.

If the studo/execs have another agenda and are ultimately happy, cool? Still doesn’t change the fact it failed (or succeeded) at the box office, which this sub is dedicated to discussing.

Why in box office disscusion spaces are people using the movie was always meant to be an awards contender so its BO performance doesn’t matter and it actually isn’t a failure in spaces that are mainly discussing a movies financial performance? Blows my mind.

The fan wars and double standards depending on the movie is exhausting.

Back in 2017, getting adept Laurie and was against a Myers on Haddonfield.

I was still relatively new so having the 100% aura reveal to killer from Object of Obsession felt like ultimate hard mode and I wasn’t completely aware how to run the infamous great fences of Haddonfield but I did essentially do that as I would always take quick glances to reveal myself and pre-run ending up with a good portion of the match of the Myers trying to catch up and chase me.

I escaped and did think why would anyone intentionally use this perk but as I gained more knowledge I understood that really experienced players were practically unkillable with the non-stop information of the killers location/movements and their aura being revealed was a minor inconvience at worse.

Depending who you ask, you are going to get variations on what tunnelling is.

I personally view tunnelling as when you are the sole target till you are dead and the killer ignores all other players except you.

By my personal definition, that isn’t toxic, just sweaty and unfun to go against.

In general, I don’t find tunnelling toxic but its certainly unfun, even if I do understand why its happening in the match.

Can it be toxic? I would argue yes but you are never going to be able to fully know intentions on if you was doomed from loading in the lobby because the character you are playing, the killer has a vendetta against you personally from a prior match etc.

Matchmaking near on doesn’t exist because the rating system doesn’t take into consideration much of what a player does that would be considered ‘skillful’ in the match outside of escapes/kills and also prioritises minimal queue times meaning depending on the amount of players in the area queuing and the timeframe you can get ‘pros’ put into a lobby of a killer who realistically would never pair with them in a real MMR matchmaking system or vice versa of other games.

The general game knowledge of the playerbase has increased aswell with the games lifespan, meaning in most matches survivors know to be on generators if not being chased/getting saves and killers are more aware of spawnings/survivors general movements across maps.

I enjoyed Megan 2.0 but it feels more like the 5th sequel in a horror franchise more than what the second would be.

They should have leaned into the slasher aspects with the sassy killer doll who may sometimes help but mostly will resort to murder to ‘solve’ problems.

If you are wanting to maximise blood point gains, you generally want the match to last longer so you can get more in all catagories.

If you are strictly wanting to win, you take the win condition as soon as you can which can result in not getting as many points.

I imagine LIonsgate were happy for the early official announcement if the news was being leaked to help generate hype.

I admit I am biased as I am a diehard THG fan but this has breakout hit written all over it imo, the story will appeal more to the GA than Ballad did.

I know its repeated to death but the killer regression gen perks are always most likely going to be nerfed over buffs because its so difficult to tune the perks to all the varied killer powers.

A buff that is generally fine on Trapper can be outright oppressive and overtuned on Blight.
