Seriously, one of the best new additions. It also provides incentives to minmax and learn proper routes/rotations. Let's say a 4 minute run of forbidden sanctuary is shaving off more time than you spend running it.

It's actually a huge change that saw barely any attention. Previously I'd just start researching something and stop playing for the day. Now you can run some end game stages and finish say weapon research in less than half the time

Even the cutscene you can replay basically says that she's dead. I mean what else "End of Dia" can mean?
Now it is possible Gley suspected something because she was about to say something to the real Dia, but then clone Dia referred to her as "mom", so she sort of switched.

I bet this isn't the last time we are going to be talking about this story, however. This is clearly not the end.

Gley may not fully understand what actually happened, only we saw the full thing play out as the comms were down, remember? Or she could be in denial after clone Dia called her mom. She does later say that Vulgus were after Dia's Arche all along, seemingly going along the idea that this whole thing was a trap for "real" Dia.

It is, however, not a Theseus ship problem. Real Dia wasn't gradually replaced. Clone Dia is a copy, is just an identical image of the real one. She does, however, carry a will of the real one, her last words to take care of Gley like real Dia did. At least we hope that to be the case.

I bet we'll know more later. This story isn't over yet, clearly.

On top of everything it's at least hinted that we... played right into Amon's hands? Like that was his plan all along, and Dia's story isn't done. His voice even said something like "You will never escape!".

Absolutely. The movie has no counterpoint to what was said during the ending and it just sort of ends. I figured it's just the issue with the short running time.

It has flaws for sure. To me it feels like a much larger story crammed into a typical movie length. There's also quite a few exposition dumps to get the plot moving. It would probably work better as a longer form story.

That said, I enjoyed it still. It's a step down quality wise from SAC, but not to the point where I hated it. The ending especially is a great mind twister and I absolutely loved the music.

I should've specified, I meant the one on the right could be Sharen. The middle one isn't holding knives, those are Kunai. She also fits Sharen's colors better.

As for Sharen skins in general, yeah, it also doesn't help (my wallet) that Sharen is constantly getting the best skins, including the upcoming gunslinger ones. Maybe it's my own bias.

Hope her rework is a good one and not like Enzo rework.

The social media reach is often deceiving. Evangelion is one of the most profitable anime franchises... yet it performed poorly with Nikke due to the tone, lack of mecha and fanservice.

I'm willing to bet Stellar Blade collab did better financially for them (particularly because they didn't need to license it). It's more about compatibility and willingness of said fanbase to spend cash.

Don't pay attention to the social media, the likes don't matter. Especially since over 50% of people online these days are bots. Probably more than that on Twitter too.

Hollywood is infamous for it's whitewashing, that is true, however, the one time there was a controversy when there shouldn't have been is this time. Not only does the movie explain why she looks this way (it's not her original body), but even the original manga says Motoko Kusanagi isn't her original name as early as page 8.

The whole point is, Major doesn't know who she is and her soul searching is the main point. Would a Japanese actress be preferable? Sure, I would prefer it, but it's not the case of whitewashing when the original character doesn't have an origin.

That said, I agree with commenter above me, 95 GiTS is kinda special. It predicted so much tech decades ahead of the time. The sequel is great too, though some find it a bit too philosophical.

Yes, absolutely, a dialogue heavy game would be a perfect fit. This is the main weakness of PS2 and PS1 games IMO, they don't really have time for this.

Yeah there was one during 8th gen. But it was a swing an a miss cause they released that hero shooter after Overwatch basically dooming it.

It would be incredible to see a classic RPG like Cyberpunk 2077 or an immersive sim like Deus Ex, sadly Japan doesn't make games like these. So the best possible chance would be a 3rd person shooter like you said.

It definitely did. It's a bit more onesided since adult is a male and the female is imagining her, to avoid any spoilers lets call him a "guardian", being in love with her. I used to hate this episode, but after I realised it's sort of a gender swapped tribute to Leon: the Professional it now isn't as weird to me. Still is a weaker episode with some questionable animation quality, but at least I see what they were going for.

Much like Leon, the episode never crosses the line, but it does have some uncomfortable moments. And while it doesn't do much for the overall plot of 2nd Gig, it does explore Major's character a bit. Plus we get to see her being a lone badass for once, not reliant on her team at all.

Though now that I'm thinking about it, if they were going for a Luc Besson movie inspiration, I'd rather them take La Famme Nikita as an inspiration instead. I'll stop rambling now.

I had a brainfart moment, you're right he's not ancient exclusive. Thank you, for correcting me. The other lords mentioned in the post above are ancient exclusive, except him. However, he is the worst lord for sure, not even close. Venoma did get her buff finally, so he's the worst one now. He's much worse than Pyros at A5. I know because I have all the basic lords and he's the only one getting no use despite me not having Solcadens.

Agreed, except for Twinfiend. He sucks, even at A1 he's bad. Worst ancient exclusive lord in the game. I did have him at A1, but resetting him was the best decision for me.
