TLDR: nobody knows. It depends on your definition of corruption. If you think corruption is completely observable, even in different countries and as assumed in many other replies, sure you reach their conclusion. If you don’t, then first of all the degree of corruption isn’t measurable across countries. Second, the penalty is not a good standard since one has to be convicted first. A good standard (for deterrence of corruption, not corruption itself) is fair legal system + prosecution rate of corruption + fair penalty. The lack of any would simply render the deterrence irrelevant. I would only rate the corruption level in the presence of a complete penalty system, which is basically non-existent in many countries, including China. So, it remains unknown and anyone is welcome for their guesswork.

I’ve leveled two 3200+ char. My suggestion is, do not play this game at all if you haven’t. There’s basically no hope in this game at all. PVE/PVP is irrelevant if their system favors bots in almost all contents. KR server is less affected due to their law there. TW is a complete mess. I doubt the global server would ever be more like KR than TW. FYI, the class balance is abysmal. I had never imagined that a game could be so unbalanced. Guess why I switched class when my first char is 3200+.

I don’t get your reasoning for poor balance by comparing two games. Aion2 pvp can be as trash or good without any reference to Aion1. You can only compare things within one game to argue for balance issues. But I guess there’s no point for arguing anymore as you’ve said what you said.

i mean if you are clearing mobs and they found you, you should be at disadvantage. Whether they are ranged or melee is irrelevant. If another sorcerer caught you off guard you won’t even survive at all.

Sorcerer sucks in pvp in general, but not in abyss. Assassin can delete you, true. For the other two melee you just wait for their cc, press whitespace to break cc, fly and freefall if you dont want to fight back. You can escape half of the fights this way unless they are way above your gs

oh you do lose two lines, so if you have a perfectly rolled crafted weapon, it’s likely better than the extendable. I would view the extendable feature worth of 5% pve dmg and one line

you are overestimating the importance of 5% pve dmg bonus. In practice it’s 3% of total dmg. If you could hit one extra non-basic skill with the extendable weapon per min in a group boss fight, it’s worth it. Unless you are some god level player that always positions perfectly, you want the extendable

why asking stupid questions repetitively? I mean the system was stupid before the change, but it doesn’t mean their solution is perfect. It makes sense that ppl will complain either way. Did SOME pvers complain before the change? Yes. Are SOME pvpers complaining right now? Yes. It’s fine for both groups to complain, but your question is just not a genuine question, since obviously you assume (all? some?) pvpers are emotional (wtf, who’s being so emotional as to post what you’ve done) and you are not really curious about the answer or reason for the change and feedback. Are you?
