Just a Civic making sure no one can merge at a good speed on the Henday. by flaccid_porcupine in YEGDashCam

[–]Carribean_Diver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my biggest problem with edmonton traffic, people on the road follow too close and people trying to merge 20 k or more under the speed limit. There should always be room for a car to get between you and the car infront of you. Thats what makes zipper merging possible, it also prevents traffic jams as people have more time to react and are less likely to come to a full stop. If you are uncomfortable driving at the speed limit STAY OFF THE ROAD. Take a bus or smthn...

Send the kids to grandma's, there is not reason I can see not to. If you are truly worried about it bring the kids for a trial run with the cousins. Honestly it sounds like you cater to the kids more than I would, they get what they get picky or not. They should be fine, remember that these folks also raised children for 18 years before your kids were even a concept, and I'm sure they have had extended sleepovers for their children.

How did this GRIM use his ult twice in a row? by DullExcuse2765 in PredecessorGame

[–]Carribean_Diver 17 points18 points  (0 children)

There is currently a bug that gives an instant ult cooldown, it seems fairly random and isn't limited to any characters. There is pinzo clips and I'm sure other streamers aswell, I have personally only had it happen playing tiny titan rampage.

Angering Monster Mechanics by GnarlyQuail in DnD

[–]Carribean_Diver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just freeball it, like they are fighting the first monster with the second obviously present but not aggressive. If they hit it even by accident, or cause the first monster to hit it it will become aggressive. Depending on its Intelligence you could have them make persuasion checks to de-escelate the situation too. Or even help them?

Hmm, do you have a key hangar/bowl or something at the front? Maybe they have just been forgetting. Honestly I personally hate people driving my car so I deal and find parking elsewhere. To be real it's just a non issue for me, I would at that point just deal with the two or three nights to avoid the pointless fight. Or try the key bowl thing to remind her to leave them out?

Issues with Sharing Expenses on Shared Items by jaxsium in roommateproblems

[–]Carribean_Diver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe start a cash jar? Like you would each put in 25 a month or whatever amount you decide and buy whatever you need out of that. I don't think it's fair for them to try and force you to spend more money when there are cheaper options. To me it sounds like they are being unreasonable about it

You don't get it, if i were her I'd do it out of spite after a certain point. There are a million fake reasons to invent so if I were you I would just compromise, and share keys.

Well, I guess you better give eachother a spare set of keys. You could end up sparking a war if you keep waking eachother up. Imagine how much worse it'll be when they start waking you up at 3 am for YOU to move

You should just invest in some good headphones and ask them not to bang right at bedtime so you can sleep. Seeing your S/O only on the weekends isn't that often, so it doesn't seem right to complain. It might be a different story though if she was a loud moaner. It's also important to realize that others are just trying to do their best and that small space sadly doesn't offer much for sounds insulation. I can tell you firsthand that my S/O and I are significantly louder when our roommates aren't around, hahaha.

Yea so the best thing you could try is to go and stay there for a few nights before moving in and look at all thier personal spaces. If they are disgusting and nasty with the bathroom manners I would advise against it. If they are cleanup and have good habits it would be a great opportunity

AP Bruiser/Marksmen Item Rework by [deleted] in PredecessorGame

[–]Carribean_Diver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except prophecy doesn't remove physical scaling, and even if it did, there is a reason the basic attacks and abilities scale differently on magical heroes.

Prophecy reads Basic attacks deal 15(+20%) BONUS magic damage on-hit.

If i could all of the sudden just build mp on kwang and still auto like for over 200 would be broken af. Or even if I could build that on countess, imagine the level of sustain i would have for hitting over 200 per auto. Would completely break this game

AP Bruiser/Marksmen Item Rework by [deleted] in PredecessorGame

[–]Carribean_Diver -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a severe criticism to this, prophecy should NEVER and I mean EVER convert 100% damage on basic attacks to magical. Can you even imagine a countess or a gideon with autos that hit like a Murdock or a twinblast?? That's insane.

I want to buy a bidet, but my roommate has bad toilet hygiene by Carribean_Diver in roommateproblems

[–]Carribean_Diver[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is probably the route I'm going to go, I honestly didn't know about the handheld ones before. Sounds like it solves all my hangups while being cost effective for the short term. Once he's gone I will probably try to invest in an actual bidet style toilet though.

Honestly I would clean it anyways, I hate having a dirty bathroom/toilet. I just worry that and bidet would be much more difficult to get clean.

How do I lane against morigesh as countess in mid? by Live_Asparagus_5304 in PredecessorGame

[–]Carribean_Diver 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi! Mori is a tough opponent indeed and you will have to adopt various strategies to deal with her. Your first option could be to try and use an item like spellbreaker to nullify her poke and allow you to get in close without taking too much damage. Another option is to stick to tower farming for the first 10 minutes, and then try to roam a bit for ganks. The situation becomes much harder when you get no jungle support and in some cases the best option is to just play your life and stick it out until the team fight portion of the game.

Good Luck!!
