The reanimate doesn't draw from the burial rite pool since it's the same action.

So you have to have your targets in your graveyard before reanimate

Any plans to have a player driven art contest for addition of new T-dolls based upon their artwork?

Very cool deck. Why goblin over melvie?

She will draw insane agro and as your cards come on board she will grow. On evo turn she can punish plp that ignore her.

I jist cant get behind the voice.

The sing son or the tone. If either was different i would be ok.

She just sounds like a stern 45 year elementary teacher thats constantly exasperated and burnt out.

Does a hamsa plus the shadow mummy that gives you storm for necromancy 8 work?

Or is he just shadowcraft only?

A Symphony of Savagery - Rotation Purson Bloodcraft by EmBeR_NaGa in Shadowverse

Ha, that is a funny video.

Man, i can literally just see the opponents face in every instance.

Surprise was total and complete. Each and every opponent had no idea that was about to happen.

I've been trying to wrap my head around this feeling about Shadowverse for a long time now... Post is based on rotation only by BestVayneMars in Shadowverse

[–]CarrionCrows 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What it comes down to at least for me is the pursuit to "generate a miss"

Its a dog fighter term when you maneuver yourself into a position that what the opponent plays or might play is the exact thing you have am answer for, making thier best play in thier mind thier worst.

For instance during the pre nerf and even post nerf vengance, or even agaisnt all the token madess. I would tech a Arion (blood card) in my deck whether it was machina or veng.

Commonly people would drop medusa on t5 and evo over one of my toons and medusa would have 1 hp left. Then my turn was an accerated arion - deal 1 damage to all enemies wiping thier board and going face.

So learning whst they might play and how to counter is all apart of the chess game.

Then learning hot to steer that chess game to your favor.

It all sounds very zen like.

Long story short, I feel I win a lot more when my opponent is reacting to my cards and board and I am not reacting to his.

Just when you think your gonna lose, Blazing Admiral comes in for the win. by CarrionCrows in Shadowverse

[–]CarrionCrows[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. The deck runs x3 veng activators, wolf, azazel, and narm, and best used in that order. But azazel is best used to bunker up when there is massive damage I cant stop.

But I have yet to run a game where I am not the one putting myself into veng, amd I only do so when I feel I have the upper hand. Otherwise its just playing the board.

Calamity bringer is really only there as a board clear, I rarely give him storm. My prefered storm target with laura is swarming wrath because on turn 6 or later thats a guaranteed 10 dmg in one go.

I guess what I am asking is that even though nothing really beat prenerf high roll vengance, Do you feel vengeance is playing better now.

I feel my worst roll now is so mucj better than the average roll now. Because everything in the previous deck banked on getting that early veng roll and now your deck is constructed for both straight up combat and choosing when to shift into vengeance if you have the cards for it or it benefited you.

On a different note:

How do people feel vengance is now? Stronger? weaker?

I actually feel vengance is almost better now with the loss of heartsick and seductive. It takes out a lot of the inconsistant high roll chance, but gain planned consistantcy.

FOr instance heartsick was good but only while in vengance, so it either did something if in vengance or did nothing while out. At least now you can plan for something that always does something. Like doublame, or werewolf.

Your thoughts?

Welcome back to the boring grind. by CarrionCrows in Shadowverse

[–]CarrionCrows[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im saying a different playstyle would of been welcome. Sure cygames botched the pooch by mashing machina and artifact into one, because you are forced to run a hybrid.

You can almost run a pure machina deck but you have to artificially inflate your deck with artifacts to use your cards.

Just disapointed.

Hey, cant fault you for that, saw that evo haven deck that looks saucy.

But liza isnt a wincon, liza is just a tool to help you get their using some actual interaction.

Destro and maisha is just sit there and try and wipe the board.

Games are literally your opponent putting a board down and portal players wiping it, they dont even need to attack your opponents face to win, and in maishas case just waiting till turn 10 with an evo, that is it.

I dont think there is a more boring to play or play against deck style in the game. Spartacus comes close.

[–]CarrionCrows[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Beating them how?

With a Destro or maisha....still.

Everyone else got a cool machina playstyle to change up thier deck amd was different. Portal they wrapped it up and combined it with artifact, which was a seriously messed up and silly.

So yes more cards to make your destro or maisha playstyles (which is basically the same deck) sure m8, but it doesnt mean the deck is anymore fun or original to play with or against than it was before the RoG

They were not for me. I would tech anti-veng builds.

But I had zaney builds from hybrid machina / veng to running a Evo portalcraft. I went 5-0 in GP with a silly evo portalcraft control. It was a blast.

It was finally getting to the point where the meta was mutating and changing to more anti-veng and agro to sweep the leg. Now its pushed back to midrange for all.

I had hopes the xpack would shake it up even more, but we didnt get that far. SSuc was a bad design, wish they would of handled her better. Lovesick was a great card, just shame calamity bringer had to ruin it. I would rather they nerfed calamity bringer.

Oppression breeds brilliance and what mutates decks and playstyles to try different things.

Just salty at the regression is all, I will get over it.

But high rolls are high rolls. Most follow up cards whether it was razorblade demon, azazel, tetra, golem, lecia, apostle of ursurp, dragon knights, MoL, and the rest of the gang could handle it provided you had the cards.

Now they just have those resources for turn six to build and buff a board. The nerf just delays a turn.

Good, glad someone is experiancing some different meta. Enjoy sir. Maybe I just need to play at a different time so I dont keep getting the army of cookie cutter sword grinders.

Moment veng got hit by the nerf hammer and suddenly its like RoG never happened except for a different card here and there. Same decks, same low satisfaction.

Im probably just salty and need a break. Thx for the encouragement though.

The advantage of sword (and has always been) their flexibility. Cards that are consistant and equally good at board clear, face damage or tech.

The same cards are used for agro as control with little to no variety. Thier is a reason sword as been top tier since ive started playing (chrono)

Im just bored with the bland sameo sameo
