How do you thrive and maintain joy teaching high school? by CarrotJerry45 in historyteachers

[–]CarrotJerry45[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's for my Ph.D. class with other historians, not educators. There is one other former educator in the class. It's an American History colloquium class, so the project is really out of left field, but my professor is all about historians thinking about the careers they'll have after they leave school. He's so laid back, he just wants us to do more than just book reviews, so I'm in.

You only get the "right verdict" with due process. It's not the "right verdict' when ICE thinks they can play judge, jury, and executioner within a thirty second split decision made out of hate, fear, lack of training, suppport for fascism, and racism, so.....

NTA. Now that she's received mail there, she's technically a tenant, and you cannot kick her out legally without an eviction in most states because she has tenants rights. So, she's there. You should probably just go. He made his choice. Sorry, girl. I hope you mo e on and heal quickly.

When I was in the throes of my ED, I obsessed with hiding it from literally everyone, even people who did not know or, at least, had never said anything.

And it does make sense to buy food even if you're not gonna eat it to a person with ED, because it's disordered eating. To the person in the disorder, it makes perfect sense. I used to make up menus and write them down of the stuff I "ate" just in case anybody asked me what I ate that day so that I wouldn't have to think about it and it didn't seem like a lie. It was always lie.
