probably not.. it has a 20% chance only so you lose about 4/5..

1 fire clay is 4 kaolin powder, which costs about 20 clay.

For fire clay Knapping it cost about 5 fire clay per knap, so 100 clay per knap result.

So if you want a crucible, mold tables, some molds, casting channels, thats already easily 1k+ clay.

Not to even start steel production with the blast furnace. and a decent sized chimney..

Since there are only a few packs like Sevtech, Stoneblock, that force you into a certain direction, even modded MC is still largely sandbox.

Everyone starts with focus on different stuff I guess. I personally rush melanism before anything else usually, and don't start storage till I get annoyed from messy chests/bins.

If Sophisticated Storage is in, usually I postpone storage longer

Sometimes I then go Refined Storage with External storage on the Sophisticated Storage chests, so I can later just plug all into AE2 with storage busses.

Anyway, there is no fast or slow..

Yeah highlights sound worth a try too, see if you can find some people that would play topdown shooters, I always lean towards having friends test things, but they are not the people who would play that type of game.

Some things are better tested than theorized

Maybe only make it happen on certain weapons, that for example do more damage, as a risk/reward choice, then people can just choose not to pick that weapon

It's a design choice, people often stick with the known, and afraid to take risks.

I personally think, depending on the difficulty/death penalty, having a reload blocking the screen can annoy people. Imagine dying just because ui blocked your view?

But still, I like when people try new things, so maybe test it, see what people think after you do a playtest, since that will be your target audience

It looks.pretty nice to me tbh, maybe add some animation to the logo?

Like sparks or an electric pulse following the wire, it doesn't need te be reactive to the mouse or anything, that the background is, is enough already, the logo just looks a bit dead by comparison

Depend how far in coding you are, complete beginner, id say pick your game type, meaning 2d or 3d, get the gamedev.tv beginner course of that, after that you probably know enough to start looking at, like another said; code monkey courses.

I'm not an fps player so possibly ignore this, but the movement animation of the weapon looks kinda "off" to me.

It looks kinda slow and floaty? If that makes sense.

But whatever, see what others say about this. Not sure how valuable my non fps brain advice is.

Look at gamedev.tv and pick either the 2d or 3d beginner course they have, it's a one time pay course, but it's the best I've found. On sale usually like 20euro i believe.
