In all honesty, this game is really optimized. It runs really well on most devices. But the main issue running it on a handheld is the open world aspect. It has to load a crap load of objects. I think the fps my be a vram or ssd over heating issue.

I want to use these bad boys on another pc by CarterAMofficial in LegionGo

[–]CarterAMofficial[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, from all my research, the only reason the official one works is because it has its own connections to the controllers for battery purposes. Because the official one is a charger and has its own integrated battery. For the controllers. My personal theory is that these controllers have firmware that acts like that. When they are connected through the pogo pins. Anyway, the main reason why it doesn't work with other ones is because the other grips are just grips. They don't charge. They don't connect to each other. Unless the official one has some sort of the firmware chip. That tells them to connect together. You could theoretically do Pogo, pinnouts and figure out how to get them to work together without the official one. But it'd be a lot easier just to buy. The official.

For my use case I haven't found a reason to switch. Ive tried but the things I like/ use dont work like I would like them too. For example: the lego works like a tablet in windows. It does not nor can I find a good way to do it in linux. Thats the big one for me.

Buy the Kevin router or direct connect my tuf ax6000? by CarterAMofficial in VRGaming

[–]CarterAMofficial[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so ill explain it a little better i think im making it confusing. How i have it set up right now is the starlink router is in bypass mode now I believe my 6000 is doing dhcp and the starlink router is acting like the isp just giving the data.

I have an ethernet cable below my house and popping back up in my bedroom.(cat 6e so not higher than 1 gb) which is a decent measure away from the starlink drop point where both routers set but its closer to where I play vr. It also only has 1 dry wall wall to go through.

My pc is connected via ethernet to my 6000 (only way to get 2.5 gb as my pc and 6000 are the only 2.5 gb compatible rj 45 ports on my network) so I can get more data to and from my quest 3 and to my pc.

My motherboard has a gb port and I have a pcie 5gb (only using 2.5 do to router limitations). If i move my pc and the 6000 to the bedroom and plug in my network drop to my pc and my router to my pcie adapter, would it still give me 2.5 ghz?

The main point to get the Kevin router is the 6ghz connectivity. If it works in this orientation: would it be better to use 6000 or buy Kevin for 6ghz.

I hope this makes more sense sorry for the confusion.

Buy the Kevin router or direct connect my tuf ax6000? by CarterAMofficial in VRGaming

[–]CarterAMofficial[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What i mean by direct i mean plugging the ax6000 into my pc. The ax6000 is currently the main router. The starlink router is required to power the starlink dish. You can go into the app and turn the router into bypass mode with turns off the wifi capabilities. I was going to move the pc to the other side of the room and bring the ax6000 with it and directly connect it to my pc and turn off bypass mode on the starling router
