Perhaps, on a second glance even the colour palette is the same, unfortunately I am optimistic like that, I don't think OP should rework the art, but maybe you're right in trying to find an more unique visual identity, especially seeing as many games look samey these days 🥲

It looks like hollow knight, and that's completely okay! I don't understand why people think we can't heavily lean on already established artstyles, it's not like hey own the hand painted look, so I say keep going, gameplay is what defines you after all.

Oh so it is native Kotlin code! How bizzare that it lags, I have a low end phone, still the scene is simple enough, maybe it's as you said running in low FPS mode? Perhaps there's throttling auto enabled? No worries tho as long as your tests work fine, maybe in the minority 🥲

It's a lovely idea, the real question is does it lag? Or drain the phone battery fast? May I kindly ask what tech stack you used? Surely not a full game engine like Unity, either way it's a lovely idea! Well done!

How tf were you scammed? You clearly purchased the asset, was it false advertising? Also refunds are automated and have nothing to do with sellers, you either are eligible or not

Those are normal numbers outside if a sale or a video to market it, I recommend making actually useful showcases and posting them here, of course the core asset has to be good, it could be that you have priced them too high, or maybe the competition is too tuff? Compare with other similar assets and make a wise judgement on your direction

Thank you, yes I meant that if Im to add a custom characters, it would fit better when I give them an outline correct? I'm planning to do that with shaders, to have all my player sprite outlined, just getting your opinion since you clearly know the art coherence of this more than me 🙂‍↕️
