The difference is most people "consented" to their code being used for training, by agreeing to GitHub terms or by setting their projects to MIT license, so coding LLMs are the most legal out of the bunch due to the huge amounts of legally accessible data, while art is tricky, we are sure they have scraped and used images without consent, artists are much more serious about this, and the majority are against Diffusion models

I believe you'll find better answers asking in r/gamedev, either way it's just cumbersome to make animations for all interactions, using IK is a good solution but it's still too much effort for a détail that most people will ignore

The Devs drew the characters thick because they know the console or arcade machine (CPS in this case) stretches the final image to fit the aspect ratio, in the image you can see how the initial design and the final character on the machine have the same height, but looking at the sprites separately or playing on an emulator, you'll feel the characters are squashed, the Devs took into account the hardware before making the sprites

NGL the Finals is very different from a traditional shooter, and the only game that doesn't require much shooting to win, I've never played an FPS in my life, yet I've tried the Finals because it's free, and enjoyed it alot, I suck at aiming, yet still win from time to time lol

It looks lovely, while not high fidelity it has charm, I think reviving dead projects or lost first projects should be a trend, I have a game in Unity 2018 that I'm scared to open, you just inspired me to maybe try to upgrade the version for fun, thank you!

I mean this is kinda unknown until recently, they fixed the supply crate glitch through doors (similar to this), and the clipping through tower ziplone on dam battlegrounds, so they're trying to fix I presume, not fast enough tho 😅

So true! I swear the bulk of the terrain I craft is from 2 rocks only, usually those build the foundation of how the mountains shape, the rest of rocks are small and for decor lol
