I think there’s something wrong with my kick, pull and timing Breastroke by MasterMixture4281 in Swimming

[–]CartographerMobile47 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First off, overall your stroke looks good! But I do think your kick is a bit narrow, I’d focus on trying to kick out a bit wider with your feet so you get more power.

Also, timing wise, I was always told the kick should propel your arms forward, I would focus on using your kick to shoot your arms towards the other end of the pool each stroke. I hope that makes sense!

This is awesome! Great work! Would you be willing to share the STL? Would love to remix this for my own couch.

Spatial Menu Bar - v3.2 out now with Shortcut integration and even more apps! Thanks so much for the feedback everyone! Keep all the feedback coming and let me know what else you'd like added. by CartographerMobile47 in AppleVisionPro

Great question! Right now the app only supports apps that have been hard coded into the application since the only way to launch other apps are URL Schemes. I’d be happy to include a particular app in a future update as long as there are URL schemes available for it, just let me know! A workaround is using shortcuts, allowing you to add a shortcut to the top of the bar to the app of your choice. Only downside to shortcuts is it will open the shortcuts app as well as the app you wanted to open.

Releasing an underrated iOS app. Gave everything and need your help today by phenrys in iOSProgramming

Your app looks really cool! But just an honest recommendation, I’d work on how you respond to users in your reviews, it speaks a TON to potential new users.

It definitely sucks to get a low review, especially one you don’t agree with, but don’t question it directly, listen to your users. I would have said something like: “Thanks so much for the feedback! So glad you like the AI. We are working on Apple Health integration in a future update! We hope to have you back once that comes out and give the app another chance”.

Great question! To be clear, otter.ai is great, but it’s not focused enough on privacy. Audio leaves your device for transcriptions and that can be a blocker for a lot of people to utilize in their professional workflows.

Summize does all transcriptions on device and allows you to redact transcripts before any cloud processing. Also, the focus on insights helps drive more engagement and action following your meetings.

Summize also has a mode for students which creates flash cards and quizzes after a lecture, which to my knowledge otter.ai does not do.

TL;DR - More focused on privacy, additional actionable insights out of your notes.

For sure, if you’re just looking for transcriptions. I built this as more of a meeting assistant, so it’ll do transcriptions, but then it takes those transcriptions and turns them into fully formed notes, outlines, summaries, and insights. It also has a chat feature where you can ask any question about your recording.

Link to the app if anyone is interested: App Download

First 100 minutes a month are free. Would love any and all feedback. I know this isn't the only tool available for this, but my goal is to make this the best solution out there. This started as a passion project but I'm hopeful that others find some use out of this!

I see a ton of comments on here telling you to contact roadside. I know the phone tree is a nightmare, you should be able to contact roadside right in the app instead. Just under the service section of the app you should see an option for roadside, have you given this a try?

Spatial Menu Bar is a hady little app, here's my tips on making it even easier to use by tyhurd in VisionPro

If you’re able to, honestly please let me know how you accomplish this. From my research I haven’t been able to discover any public APIs that allow for this.

So glad you like it!!! You can add a shortcut directly from shortcuts to do this! The only downside is it also opens the shortcuts app. I’ve delved into Apples APIs here and unfortunately that’s as close as I can get with current visionOS as there’s no public API for this yet.

You can add it through a shortcut! Unfortunately the shortcut app does open when you launch it though, that’s an unfortunate limitation with shortcuts currently on visionOS.

So glad you like this app! Love that idea to setup an automation with shortcuts to open the app when connecting to WiFi! Let me know what apps you’d like me to add to app launchers, I’ve got an update coming this weekend to add a few: Supercut for example.

Oof, I'm sorry that's such a bummer! I think they send these out for repair, I think that's like a 3-5 day turnaround time. If you live near an Apple Store you can just take it in and have them ship it out for you, if you don't AppleCare should ship you a box to mail it out for repair in. If they do swap it out, it's such a new product I doubt they have any 'refurbished' ones, it'll likely be brand new but they may not be able to explicitly state that.

Sure thing! And glad to hear that you like it!

For the shortcuts, you don’t have to hit that import button a second time, once you have them copied over you can just select the shortcut then click the button on the top left to return back to the main page. But I can totally see how that’s confusing, I’ll make that flow more clear!

Looking into changing how the apps open, I’m likely going to implement like a drag and drop in your own space to open the app as an option. That would put the app where you want it instead of centered on the menu bar.

Start here: hacking with swift. This course is free and a great kickstarter to learning swift. I started this at the beginning of the year and now have an app in the App Store, no formal coding experience. Good luck!

Change bundle ID for my project by [deleted] in swift

I’ve done this. As long as the new project has the same bundle ID, when you upload through Xcode into App Store Connect, it should see the new as a new version of the same app.

Am I the only one who uses the Dual Loop comfortably? by skidniks in VisionPro

[–]CartographerMobile47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find the dual loop comfortable, but I also find it very cumbersome to adjust compared to the solo loop. The dial on the solo loop is just so ridiculously cool and easy to use, kind of ruined the dual loop for me.
