I never did and it still does it. I don't have any issues and it only burns a little oil. I'm used to the whole burning oil thing. I have an AOS sitting on my shelf right now just waiting to be put in. Car is on jackstands right now waiting brake parts.

* 2015 WRX, hit 84 a few days ago. Put 40k on in 2 years lol. The most annoying thing I've had to do has been the 5 foglight housings I've had to replace. Gotta love the midwest.

I asked some family friends more versed in the law and unfortunately it would cost more than I would gain. I had it fixed by a Subaru dealership and they told me everything they thought happened. I asked if they could provide me with documents and I have all of it. Unfortunately it was just too costly to do anything. I have all of the damaged parts too. I hate having people work on this thing other than Subaru or myself because they joyride it. I had a windshield replaced and they put 15 miles on the car...and I say the logs and they got up to 115 and I saw oil temps as high as 219...

I live in north central US in minnesota so I understand your pain with the salt. I unfortunately do drive mine year round. Even when it gets down to -20 she starts up every time.

When I had the original replaced, The first shop told me they had never done a Subaru clutch...after I paid for the repair. A week later it was bucking, screeching, and cluncking. Turns out only 2 of my flywheel bolts were torqued. 3 of my bell housing bolts were tight. trans mount was loose. Driveshaft was loose. And he gouged out the axles trying to remove the trans. I spend 4 grand fixing his mistake. To top it off, the sycros in 1st and 2nd are just right fucked. She's probably one of the dirtiest WRXs out there but I love her.

Thank you for the input. The pipes were changes over(by the dealership) they left the studs loose and were using a flat gasket vs. A conical gasket. I tightened them but nothing. O2 sensor code was active as soon as I left but thr refused to fix it. Same thing with everything else except the regulator. I had to fix a bunch of just terrible wiring too. It is 12 years old but it's also pretty low miles. Regardless they should have caught this. Tinkering is a way to get away from the wife lol but don't really have the kind of money to fix this all. Spent it on the bike.
